Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll take time to do something.
Hopefully, you'll be happy to read about movies!
Well, even though they are movies, they are entitled... episodes.
Here are some episodes I watched:
* Columbo: Playback, starring Peter Falk, Oskar Werner and other actors. Click on this link to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072805/. It was good to watch.
* Columbo Goes to the Guillotine, starring Peter Falk, Anthony Andrews and other actors. To check out this crime, drama, mystery episode, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097083/. It was great that Columbo didn't get murdered!
* Columbo Likes the Nightlife, starring Peter Falk, Matthew Rhys and other actors. Would you like to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode? If so, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0306666/. Do you think I liked it? Yes, I did!
* Columbo: Death Lends a Hand, starring Peter Falk, Robert Culp and other actors. Please click on this link, to check out this crime, drama, episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068397/. I liked watching it.
* Columbo: A Deadly State of Mind, starring Peter Falk, George Hamilton and other actors. If you would like to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072801/. I enjoyed it.
To me, it seems that those who murder don't like knowledge... even though Columbo was intelligent and figured out what happened.
Thinking about that, made me think about Proverbs 1:29. "For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:".
Amen! For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:.
Yes, anyone who murders someone... does NOT accept the fear of the Lord.
But, He WILL deal with anyone who commits murder... just as we can read in the Bible.
Do you read the Bible?
I do.
If you do, you will become intelligent regarding what God wants us to do.
And, He will bless you.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Truly!
Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll do something like I've done in the past.
I'll let you know about movies!
However, these movies are usually called... episodes.
Here are some movie/episodes I've watched:
* Columbo: Agenda for Murder, starring Peter Falk, Patrick McGoohan and other actors. Click on this link, to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099288/. It was good.
* Columbo Cries Wolf, starring Peter Falk, Ian Buchanan and other actors. To check out this crime, drama, mystery episode, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097082/. I liked it.
* Columbo: The Most Dangerous Match, starring Peter Falk, Laurence Harvey and other actors. Would you like to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode? If so, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069906/. Did I like seeing it? Yes, I did!
* Columbo Goes to College, starring Peter Falk, Stephen Caffrey and other actors. Please click on this link, to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099289/. I enjoyed watching it.
* Columbo: Murder a Self Portrate, starring Peter Falk, Patrick Bauchau and other actors. If you want to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097085/. It was great to watch!
Watching these episodes makes me think so much about how Columbo has been taught to decide the truth about what happened in each issue.
Thinking about that, made me think about Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.".
Amen! I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
To me, it's wonderful that God loves everyone who belongs to Him, for He truly teaches us and guides us.
He has taught me... very much!
Because I belong to Him, I read His Word, the Bible.
If you read His Word, the Bible, then He will teach you and guide you... just as He's done for me.
Hallelujah!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Love One Another!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) do you know what I plan to share with you?
You might realize. Or, you may not.
What is it?
I'll let you know about,,, movies!
Here are some movies I've watched:
* Life with Blondie, starring Penny Singleton, Arthur Lake and other actors. Click on this link, to check out this black and white domestic comedy film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_with_Blondie. I liked watching it!
* Blondie: Footlight Glamour, starring Penny Singleton, Arthur lake and other actors. To check out this black and white film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Footlight_Glamour. Even though it didn't mention Blondie on the title, I enjoyed watching it!
* Blondie's Anniversary, starring Penny Singleton, Arthur Lake and other actors. Would you like to check out this black and white comedy film? If so, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blondie%27s_Anniversary. Did I enjoy this movie? Yes, I truly did!
* Blondie Goes to College, starring Penny Singleton, Arthur Lake and other actors. Please click on this link, to check out this Columbia comedy film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blondie_Goes_to_College. I liked it!
* Blondie for Victory, starring Penny Singleton, Arthur Lake and more actors. If you want to check out this American film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blondie_for_Victory. I admit, I enjoyed it!
These movies truly touched my heart.
After all, the parents and all family members who were shown in these movies, truly loved each other.
Just as I have done with my family, even though there wasn't always love shown.
Love is so very important.
Thinking about that, made me think of John 15:12, "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.".
Amen! This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Yes, love is very important. But the best love we can ever receive is from Jesus! Just as you read what He said... in today's Bible verse.
Yes, I love my family... and friends.
But, I'm truly thankfiul for the love from Jesus!
After all, He truly loves us... who belong to Him.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Happy Family Day!
Here on
Life with Lynnie (LwL),
I'm letting you know
that
today, is a statutory holiday.
It's
Family Day!
Family day is celebrated
on
various dates
and in various provinces,
here in Canada.
To find out about it,
click on this link:
Family
is
so very important.
Just as we read, in
God's Word,
the Bible.
Like we do,
in
1 Timothy 5:8,
"But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel."
Provide for your own family.
Treat them in a
loving
way.
If you do,
God will bless you.
Happy Family Day!
Until next time...

I Do! Do You?
Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will share with you some things.
I will share with you... movies!
Here are some movies I've watched:
* Thieves' Highway, starring Richard Conte, Valentina Cortese and other actors. Click on this link to check out this film noir: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thieves%27_Highway. I found it sad.
* The Threat, starring Michael O'Shea, Virginia Grey and other actors. To check out this American film noir, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Threat_(1949_film). I found I scary.
* Affair in Trinidad, starring Rita Hayworth, Glenn Ford and other actors. Would you like to check out this American film noir? If so, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affair_in_Trinidad. Did I like it? Even though it had some suicide... it was good to see that movie.
* My Name is Julia Ross, starring Nina Foch, Dame May Whitty and other actors. Please click on this link, to check out this film noir: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Name_Is_Julia_Ross. Even though it was a bit frustrating, I watched it.
* The Dark Corner, starring Lucille Ball, Clifton Webb and other actors. If you want to check out this black-and-white film noir, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dark_Corner. It was shocking to me, but I enjoyed seeing it.
I must admit that I was glad to watch those movies... for I felt the actors were good.
However, I also felt that because there was much sin happening, people were not being honest... in some ways.
Thinking about that, made me think about 1 John 1:8. "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.".
Amen! If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
I realize that if people do NOT read God's Word, the Bible... then they do NOT always realize that each of us have sinned.
However, once we have become a born again Christian believer, we repent from our sin... because we realize that Jesus came to the earth... to do what God the Father wanted Him to do... by giving His life ... as He did on the cross... to pay for the sin of the world... for ALL who would believe uipon Him.
I have gained salvation... because I believe upon Him.
Do you?
I pray... that if you have not yet become a believer, that you will... for if you do... then you will spend eternity with Him... after your life ends... here on earth.
Hallelujah!
Until next time...

Truly Thankful!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing some things with you.
Movies!
Well, these ones are actually episodes... that are very much like movies!
Here are some I've seen:
* Columbo: By Dawn's Early Light. starring Peter Falk, Patrick McGoohan and other actors. Click on this link, to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071346/. I enjoyed it.
* Columbo: Strange Bedfellows, starring Peter Falk, George Wendt and other actors. To check out this crime, drama, mystery episode, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112705/. I liked it.
* Columbo: A Friend in Deed, starring Peter Falk, Richard Kiley and other actors. Would you like to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode? If so, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071345/. Did I like it? Yes, I did!
* Columbo: The Greenhouse Jungle, starring Peter Falk, Ray Milland and other actors. Please click on this link, to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068401/. It was good to see.
* Columbo: A Trace of Murder, starring Peter Falk, David Rasche and other actors. Please click on this link, to check out this crime, drama, mystery episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118874/. It was interesting.
To me... it's normal that Columbo is not able to stop murders from happening.
Even so, he is able to confirm who has done evilness and/or murder... even though it's not always easy.
Thinking about that, made me think of Philippians 4:6, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.".
Amen! Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Do you pray?
I pray!
Prayer is so very important!
When we belong to God after gaining salvation... and pray to Him, He provides for us.
For that, I am truly thankful!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Do You?
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll mention again that today is our day of worship... even though it is a new year!
Since we can also worship through music... I'll share some with you!
Here is a link for a Christmas Carol on YouTube that is entitled, Hark the Herald Angels Sing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa5O6EnJtLk. If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along! The lyrics are below.
Hark the Herald Angels Sing
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the new-born King;
Peace on earth, and mercy mild;
God and sinners reconciled.”
Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;
With angelic hosts proclaim,
“Christ is born in Bethlehem.”
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the new-born King"
Christ, by highest heaven adored,
Christ, the everlasting Lord:
Late in time behold Him come,
Offspring of a virgin’s womb.
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see,
Hail th’ incarnate Deity!
Pleased as man with man to dwell,
Jesus our Immanuel.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the new-born King"
Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Risen with healing in His wings:
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die;
Born to raise the sons of earth;
Born to give them second birth.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the new-born King"
To me, it is wonderful that Jesus was born!
After all... He IS Christ the Lord!
Thnking about that, made me think about Luke 2:11, "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.".Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the new-born King;
Peace on earth, and mercy mild;
God and sinners reconciled.”
Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;
With angelic hosts proclaim,
“Christ is born in Bethlehem.”
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the new-born King"
Christ, by highest heaven adored,
Christ, the everlasting Lord:
Late in time behold Him come,
Offspring of a virgin’s womb.
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see,
Hail th’ incarnate Deity!
Pleased as man with man to dwell,
Jesus our Immanuel.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the new-born King"
Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Risen with healing in His wings:
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die;
Born to raise the sons of earth;
Born to give them second birth.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the new-born King"
To me, it is wonderful that Jesus was born!
After all... He IS Christ the Lord!
Amen! For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Jesus Christ is the son of God the Father... who sent Jesus... from Heaven... to be born on earth.
And Jesus did what God the Father wanted Him to do... which was to come to earth... to pay the price for the sin of the world... for all who would believe upon Him.
I am so grateful to Him!
Thank You, Lord!
I believe upon Him.
Do you?
If you do, you will spend eternity with Him... in Heaven... forever.
If you don't... then when your life ends here on earth... you will spend eternity in Hell... separated from God... with NO chance of escape.
Hopefully, I'll see you... in Heaven.
Until next time...
