True Love!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I am reminding you that today is our day of worship!

Even though you may have worshiped, we can worship through music!

Here is a link for a Christmas song on YouTube that is entitled, Silent Nighthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEH7_2c644Q.  If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night!
All is calm, all is bright.
Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight.
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia,
Christ the Savior is born!
Christ the Savior is born

Silent night, holy night!
Son of God love's pure light.
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus Lord, at Thy birth

Silent night, holy night!
All is calm, all is bright.
Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace

To me, it is truly wonderful that we celebrate Jesus' birth!

After all... God truly loved Jesus!

Thinking about that, made me think about John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.".

Amen!  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Talk about true love!

Are you a believer?

I am!

Have you... gained salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord Jesus Christ?

If so, when your life ends here on earth... you will spend eternity with Him... in Heaven... because you became a believer, who loves Him... and He will  love you!

If you have  NOT become a believer, by gaining salvation and everlasting life... before your life ends here on earth... then when your life ends... you will spend eternity/forever in Hell... separated from God... with NO chance of escape.

Please know... that I pray... that we will spend eternity together, in Heaven with Him!

For His Love is so important.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Merry CHRISTmas!

Today,
is a very, very... special day,
here on
Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's a special day,
because even though we do not know
the actual date
when Jesus was born,
we celebrate His birth, today.

It's truly a blessing that
Jesus was born.

Just as we can read,
in
Matthew 1, 18-25
"Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lordappeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus."...

and

Matthew 2:1-11,
"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh."

To me,
it is truly a blessing that God sent His only begotten Son to earth,
to pay the price for the sin of the world,
for all who will believe upon Him.

Even though it truly makes me happy,
I will wish you...

 Merry CHRISTmas!

Until next time...

Adore! Glory!

I'll let you know about something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Any idea what it is?

Well, today is our day of worship.

In addition to worshiping with church family, we can worship through music!

Here is a link for YouTube music by Hillsong entitled, O Come Let Us Adore Himhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIj6wtHN21s.  If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

O Come Let Us Adore Him

O come all ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye o come ye
To Bethlehem
Come and behold Him
Born the King of angels
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

Oh come, all ye faithful
Come let us adore Him
Oh come, all ye faithful
Come let us adore Him

Sing choirs of angels
Sing in exultation
Sing all ye citizens
Of heaven above
Glory to God
All glory in the highest
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

Oh come, all ye faithful
Come let us adore Him
Oh come, all ye faithful
Come let us adore Him

Oh sing hallelujah
Come let us adore Him
Oh sing hallelujah
Come let us adore Him

Yes Lord, we greet Thee
Born this happy morning
Jesus to Thee be all
Glory giv'n
Word of the Father
Now in flesh appearing
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore him
O come let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

Oh come, all ye faithful
Come let us adore Him
Oh come, all ye faithful
Come let us adore Him

Oh sing hallelujah
Come let us adore Him
Oh sing hallelujah
Come let us adore Him

Oh come, all ye faithful
Come let us adore Him
Oh come, all ye faithful
Come let us adore Him

Oh sing hallelujah
Come let us adore Him
Oh sing hallelujah
Come let us adore Him

Hmmm... did you watch it when you listened to it?

If you did, you would have seen that a Bible verse was stated at the end.

It was Luke 2:14, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.".

Amen!  Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

That toched my heart, because when we adore Him, we love Him... and glorify Him!

After all, God is in the highest!

Hallelujah!

H.B.P! Love & CHRISTmas...

Before I do something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I want to wish my daughter, P... Happy Birthday!  Enjoy your special day!  Happy Birthday!

Today on LwL, I'll share some things with you.

Any idea?

Movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, starring Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Lampoon%27s_Christmas_Vacation.  You may have heard me say before... that I love this movie!

*  A Merry Murdoch Christmas, starring Yannick Bisson, Thomas Craig and other actors.  To check out this crime, drama, mystery film, click on this link:  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5178734/.  I liked it!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jimmy Carrey, Jeffrey Tambor and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American Christmas fantasy comedy drama film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_the_Grinch_Stole_Christmas_(2000_film).  Even though I feel this movie is for children, I enjoyed it!

The Truth About Christmas, starring Kali Hawk, Damon Dayoub and other actors.  Please click on this link, to check out this comedy, drama, romance filmhttps://www.imdb.com/title/tt8805246/.  To me, this seemed to be partially unusual, but I watched it!

Scrooge... released as... Christmas Carol. starring Alastair Sim, Mervyn Johns and other actors.  If you want to check out this British Christmas fantasy drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrooge_(1951_film).  I love this movie... because it reminds me of my husband who died, because I know he played the part as Jacob Marley as an actor in high school, when he was young and alive.

I truly have so much love at this time of year, thinking about not just my family members that I love.

But, also about Jesus... since He was born and became... Jesus Christ... who we celebrate at CHRISTmas!

Yes, love is truly so important!

Thinking about that, made me think about 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.".

Amen!  And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Charity... is love!

So, love... is the greatest, as we just read in the Bible verse stated just now.

Not only do we need love from and/or to people.

It's a true blessing that Jesus loved us so much, that He came to earth, to pay the price for the sin of the earth for all who would believe upon Him.

I'm truly thankful that I love Jesus.. and that He truly loves me, because I gained salvation and everlasting life, by trusting in/believing upon Him.

Hopefully, you also love Jesus.

If you belong to Him, He will always love you.

Hallelujah!

A True Blessing!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will remind you that today is our day of worship.

Even though we worship, we can also worship through music!

Here is a link for a Christmas song on YouTube that is entitled, O Come All Ye Faithfulhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tM5pwvUGMI.  If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

O Come All Ye Faithful

O come, all ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem
Come and behold Him
Born the King of Angels

O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

Oh, sing, choirs of angels
Sing in exultation

Sing all that hear in Heaven God's holy word
Give to our Father glory in the highest

O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

All hail Lord we greet thee
Born this happy morning
O Jesus for evermore be thy name  adored
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing

O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Christ the Lord

Yes, Jesus was born in Bethlehem!

Thinking about that, made me think about  Matthew 2:1, "Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,".

Amen!  Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem.

As I mentioned in the past... and as we saw in today's Bible verse...  the wise men went to see Jesus... in Bethlehem.

Have you ever gone to Bethlehem?

I have!

If you have never gone to Israel... and have decided to go there... make sure you go to Jerusalem... other areas... and then... into Bethlehem... for... you will be able to see places regarding Jesus... and... where He... was born!

After all, Jesus is so important to all of us... who have gained salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

It is truly a blessing knowing Him... worshiping Him... loving Him... and going to places in Israel... where Jesus had been... for we adore Him!

To me, it was... a true blessing!

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Wise!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will remind you about something.

Today... is our day of worship!

As I've mentioned in the past, we can also worship through music.  So, I will share some music for you.

Here is a link for a Christmas song on YouTube that is entitled, The First Noelhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmFyzcbvAFw.  If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

The First Noel

The First Noel, the Angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

To me, this music is truly wonderful... even though it is not a long song.

Thinking about that, made me think about Matthew 2:7-11, "Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.".

Amen!  It was truly wonderful that those wise men... saw the star... and found where Jesus was born... and saw Him!

Information on the Bible is so very important... for it helps us... to know...what we need to understand.

I read the entire Bible every year!

Do you read the Bible?

Hopefully, you do... for if you do read the Bible... God will help you to understand... everything that  He wants you to know!

Hallelujah!

Until next time...
