Even though we worship, we can also worship through music!
So, I'll share some with you!
Here is a link for a hymn on YouTube that is entitled, Rock of Ages: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUU5MSTyoBA. If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along. The lyrics are below.
Rock of Ages
Rock of ages, cleft for me
Let me hide myself in Thee
Let the water and the blood
From Thy wounded side which flowed
Be of sin the double cureSave from wrath and make me pure
Would my tears forever flow
Could my zeal no langour know
These for sin could not atone
Thou must save and thou alone
In my hand no price I bring
Simply to thy cross I cling
While I draw this fleeting breath
When my eyes shall close in death
When I rise to worlds unknown
And behold thee on thy thrown
Rock of ages, cleft for me
Let me hide myself in thee
Amen!
Yes, I believe He is my hiding place.
Thinking about that, made me think about Psalm 32:7, "Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.".
Amen! Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
By becoming a believer, I have then belonged to Him... and have been loved by Him.
He provides for me... even through terrible troubles I've had in my life.
And, when my life ends here on earth, I will be with Him... forever.
Hallelujah!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
