Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will share you something... because today... IS our day of worship!
Any idea what I will share?
I will share... Music!
Here is a link for a hymn on YouTube that is entitled, Christ Receiveth Sinful Men: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MafwGtAQG1g. If you click on that link, you will be able to hear and/or sing with it! The lyrics are below.
Christ Receiveth Sinful Men
Sinners Jesus will receive
Sound this word of grace to all
Who the heavenly pathway leave
All who linger, all who fall.
Sound this word of grace to all
Who the heavenly pathway leave
All who linger, all who fall.
Sing it o’er and over again
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Come, and He will give you rest
Trust Him, for His Word is plain
He will take the sinfulest
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Trust Him, for His Word is plain
He will take the sinfulest
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Sing it o’er and over again
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain:
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain:
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Christ receiveth sinful men
Even me with all my sin
Purged from every spot and stain
Heaven with Him I enter in.
Sing it o’er and over again
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain:
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain:
Christ receiveth sinful men.
Just as we heard... and/or read... men are sinful.
But, of course... so are women.
After all, EVERY person is born with SIN... and... needs to repent.
When we become... a Christian believer... we then realize about that... and we DO repent... for we realize... that we gain... eternal life!
Thinking about that, made me think about Roman's 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.".
Amen! For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Hallelujah!
It is truly a blessing that Jesus provided for everyone... because He came to earth... to give His life... as He did on the cross... to pay the price for the sin of the world... for ALL... who would believe upon Him.
After all, when we become a Christian believer... we gain eternal life to be with Him... even though unbelievers... WON'T be with Him... and when their life ends here on earth, they WILL spend eternity in HELL... separated from God... with NO chance of escape.
I have to admit that I am truly thankful... that Jesus did that... and that I belong to Him... for... after my life ends here on earth... I WILL spend eternity with Him.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
