So Thankful!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwlL), I will remind you that today is our day of worship.

Hopefully, you worship.  I do... even though I have been doing it for a while... at home.

Since we can also...worship through music, I will share some with you!

Here is a link for hymn by the Collingsworth family on YouTube, that is entitled, At Calvaryhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD-Chf8H7sc.  If you click on that link, you can watch, listen and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

At Calvary

Years I spend in vanity and pride
Caring not my Lord was crucified
Knowing not it was for me He died
On Calvary

Mercy there was great
And grace was free
Pardon there was multiplied to me
There my Burdened soul found liberty
At Calvary

By Gods words at last
My sin I learned
Then I trembled at the
Law I'd spurned
Till my guilty soul
Imploring turned
To Calvary

O the love that drew salvation's plan
O the grace that brought
It down to man
O the mighty gulf
That God did span
At Calvary

Mercy there was great
And grace was free
Pardon there was multiplied to me
There my Burdened soul found liberty
At Calvary

Now I've given to Jesus everything
Now I gladly own Him as my King
Now my raptured soul can only sing
Of Calvary

Mercy there was great
And grace was free
Pardon there was multiplied to me
There my burdened soul found liberty
At Calvary

Mercy there was great and grace was free
At Calvary

Calvary was so very important... to me.

After all, Jesus was crucified.

Thinking about that, made me think about Luke 23:33, "And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.".

Amen!  And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

Why is it important to me, that Jesus was crucified?

God the Father, sent Jesus to earth... to pay the price of the sin of the world... for ALL who would believe upon Him.

I was thrilled to be in Jerusalem, Israel... and was able to see so much… including where Jesus had to walk...drag His cross... and ssw the area where He... died on the cross... and where He was buried.

It truly touched my heart... and made me be so... thankful to Him... for loving me... and anyone/everyone else who also has gained salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon Him... our Lord, Jesus Christ!

All I can say... is... Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
