Please!

There is something I will let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

I recently received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ)... so I will share it with you (I copied/pasted):

Lynn,

MORE THAN TRIPLED.

That’s how quickly the death toll has escalated for Christians in Nigeria.

We must save them before it’s too late. And we face an urgent deadline midnight tomorrow.

Earlier this year, roughly 350 Nigerian Christians were reported dead at the hands of Islamic radicals. By June, the total was over 1,200 murdered for their faith.

At this rate, some 2,400 innocent Christians – including children – will be slaughtered by year’s end. And it could be much, much higher at this precipitous rate. This is no longer just a human rights crisis. It could become an extinction-level event.

And that doesn’t even address the number of Nigerian Christians abducted and enslaved every year. The world should be outraged.

The ACLJ has gone directly to the U.N., urging international intervention and aid for Nigeria’s Christians.

And we continue to fight for Leah Sharibu, the Christian teen who remains a prisoner of Boko Haram – the brutal Islamic militia in Nigeria – because she won’t convert to Islam.

Violence against Christians is spreading beyond Nigeria’s borders. It will soon spread beyond control.

We’re fighting to SAVE CHRISTIANS and defend their right to worship freely without fear of violent persecution and death. We urgently need your support.

Our July Matching Challenge Deadline is MIDNIGHT tomorrow. Give today and your TAX-DEDUCTIBLE gift will be DOUBLED. $25 becomes $50; $50 becomes $100.

Have Your Gift DOUBLED Now Before Our MIDNIGHT Deadline.

To ensure that you continue to receive e-mails from the ACLJ,
please add jay.sekulow@email.aclj.org to your address book.

To me,  it is truly important to do whatever you can do to help ACLJ... since they are working hard to help Christians... who are being hurt and/or murdered... in various countries.

Thinking about that, made me think about Acts 20:35, "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.".

Amen! I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

If you are able to help, hopefully, ACLJ will be able to provide for Christians who are truly being persecuted for their faith.

After all, Islam (Muslim/Arabs/Palestinians) HATES Christians.

Please know that I believe we also need to pray.

So, please join me in prayer.

If you do, I believe God will bless you.

Thank you!

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
