Happy? Blessed?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will let you know about something.

Here is a link for an article by nytimes.com that is entitled, They Left Canada for ISIS. Should They Be Allowed Home?https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/22/world/canada/canadian-citizens-isis.html?fbclid=IwAR0cUFLt0mfmtygXH-JzFhpzI4Y1nTnExbk5KPpJTBlrAsvyYAmCe9_DTaQ.

Please... click on that link and read that article.  I will share a bit (I copied/pasted):

Two stories involving Canadians landed on the front pages of The New York Times this week. Neither involved the weekslong saga of who said what to Jody Wilson-Raybould. Instead, both featured Canadians who had left Canada to join the Islamic State, and who now want to return home. They were written by Rukmini Callimachi, our expert on all things ISIS.

At the end of the article, this was stated (I copied/pasted):

The ISIS narrator, Mohammed Khalifa, said: “I do not regret what I did, I stand by the Islamic State.” He made that very clear.
The two women that I interviewed on Sunday, including the one who was born in Hamilton, were very often apologetic. They said that they deeply regret it, they wish they’d never gone.

Wow!

To me, it was amazing reading that some Muslims were happy to have done that.  And... that some Muslims were NOT happy to have done that.

Of course, being Canadian I found it upsetting at first.

But... as a Christian, I thanked God!

Why?

Because... He helps us Christians.... who love Him and belong to Him.

Thinking about that, made me think about that, made me think about 1 John 4:19, "We love him, because he first loved us.".

Amen!  We love him, because he first loved us.

Are you Christian?

If you are Muslim... or if you are just NOT Christian... then I would suggest you gain salvation and everlasting life, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... after reading the New Testament portion of the Bible.

If you do, then you will realize that Jesus came to earth to pay the price of the sin of the world... for all who believe upon Him.

Plus, you will realize that He has loved you... before you love Him.

And you will spend eternity with Him... instead of spending eternity in Hell... separated from Him... with NO chance of escape.

Then, you will also feel happy and blessed!

Until next time...
