I'll share what was stated (I copied/posted):
Police are hoping the public can help identify a man who stole two firearms and ammunition from the Canadian Tire in South Windsor.
The crime happened at the store at 4150 Walker Rd. on Wednesday around 7:20 p.m. — but it wasn’t known until Thursday morning.
Store security cameras recorded the adult male suspect entering the store and moving among the aisles.
Police believe the man left the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male with an average build who appears 25 to 30 years old.
He has sunken cheeks and large ears. He may have a dark marking on the right side of his face — on the side of his mouth and under his eye.
At the time of the crime, he was wearing a black jacket with a fur-lined hood, black pants, white Nike running shoes, a black Detroit Tigers baseball cap, and black gloves.
Police have not disclosed details about the weapons and ammunition taken.
The Canadian Tire on Walker Road stocks a variety of rifles and shotguns in locked glass cabinets in its hunting department.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has more information about this incident is encouraged to call the Property Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350.
Anonymous tips can be made via Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 or www.catchcrooks.com.
To be honest... that truly made me feel badly. Why?
Not just because the article was posted January 25, 2020... even though I didn't read that article back then... but also because I tried to search online to see if someone was arrested... but recently, it seemed that no one had been found... to be arrested.
Yet, a man stole guns and ammunition.
To me, it was truly sinful.
Thinking about that made me think about Exodus 20:15, "Thou shalt not steal.".
Amen! Thou shalt not steal.
Yes, God does NOT want anyone to steal... just as we read in today's Bible verse.
But, to me... it seems that the man who was the stealer must have wanted to be able to injure and/or kill someone.
Which is also against what God wants done.
So, to me... he obviously is NOT Christian.
If he was Christian... he would have read God's Word... the Bible... and because being a believer... he would have not wanted to do anything against God... and would want to do only what God would want done.
Please join me in prayer... that this stealer will repent from the sin he did by stealing.
Also... please join me in prayer that he will NOT hurt or kill anyone.
Please... pray that he will become a believer... for if he does gain salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, he will never want to sin... and/or go against Him.
And, he would then be... forgiven.
Thank you for joining me in prayer.
May God bless you.
Until next time...
