One!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will remind you that today is our day of worship.

Hopefully, you do worship!

However, like I've mentioned in the past, we can also worship through music!

Here is a link for a hymn on YouTube that is entitled, The Church's  One Foundationhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jotNbcFelX4.  If you click on the link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

The Church's One Foundation

The Church’s one foundation
  Is Jesus Christ her Lord;
She is His new creation
  By water and the Word:
From heav’n He came and sought her
  To be His holy Bride;
With His own blood He bought her,
  And for her life He died.

Elect from every nation,
  Yet one o’er all the earth,
Her charter of salvation,
  One Lord, one faith, one birth;
One holy Name she blesses,
  Partakes one holy food,
And to one hope she presses,
  With every grace endued.

’Mid toil and tribulation,
  And tumult of her war,
She waits the consummation
  Of peace for evermore;
Till, with the vision glorious,
  Her longing eyes are blest,
And the great Church victorious
  Shall be the Church at rest.

Yet she on earth hath union
  With God the Three in One,
And mystic sweet communion
  With those whose rest is won:
O happy ones and holy!
  Lord, give us grace that we,
Like them, the meek and lowly,
  In love may dwell with Thee.

Wow!

How wonderful it was that the lyrics said that the church's one foundation is Jesus Christ her/our Lord!

Thinking about that, made me think about Matthew 16:18, "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.".

Amen!  To me, it is wonderful that Jesus said... And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

What a blessing it truly is that Jesus arranged a church being made.

After all, we who are true believers do worship.

And some churches can be a blessing for us, when pastors preach well.

If you can't travel to a church, then look on the television... or on the internet... to look for and find a church group that you can participate with... to worship, and be preached to.

If you do... I believe that you'll not just live well.  I believe you will also be educated.

So, learn well... and worship.

If you do, I believe God will lead you to become knowledgeable and blessed.

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
