There is something I feel I need to let you know about... here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It is about a situation with people in India known as Hindu.

Here is a link for an article by that is entitled, India's Persecuted Christians Look Ahead to a New Decade

Please click on that link and read the article.  I'll share with you, a bit of what was stated (I copied/pasted):

02/07/2020 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern)Year after year, the situation is going from bad to worse,” Pastor Suryam recently told International Christian Concern (ICC). Pastor Suryam, from India’s Telangana state, is just one of several individuals ICC interviewed to understand the realities facing Indian Christians at the start of the new decade.
We have stopped all the outdoor activities associated with our church for the past two years,” Pastor Suryam continued. “The present situation is like we are compressed and out of breath, even when it comes to conducting prayers in our church members’ homes.

It also stated (I copied/pasted):

According to a report recently released by Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) India, at least 328 incidents of targeted violence against Christians were recorded in 2019. This number represents another increase in violence when compared to previous years. However, the 328 incidents recorded in ADF’s report only represent a portion of the violence that is actually facing India’s Christian community. Most incidents go unreported due to fear of reprisal or lack of confidence in India’s justice system.

As the global Church moves into this new decade, it will be important to remember our persecuted brothers and sisters around the word. It will be especially important to keep those in India in prayer.

Here is an article by that is entitled. The Rise of Hindu Radicalism

Did you read that article?  I couldn't share it all, but thought I should let you know a bit (I copied/pasted):

Hindus and Muslims together fought against British imperialism in 1857. However, as Muslim power in India gave way to British rule, revivalist movements like the Deobandi and Jamaat-e-Islami began. These movements stressed on Muslim separateness, and were puritanical and exclusivist in nature. The Hindu reaction to both European colonization and Islamic revivalism was manifested through numerous Hindu revivalist movements that sprung up such as the Arya Samaj, the Brahmo Samaj, among others. Later, in the 20th century, more politically-nuanced movements intent on preserving cultural ‘Hinduness’ or ‘Hindutva’ emerged in the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak (RSS) movement.

Even though I've read that Hindu people are not religious... I also read online... that antapathy… is... hatred.

As I read on those articles, it was claimed that Hindu people are against Christians... and... Muslims.

As you read today, the Indian Hindus ad Muslims in 1957 fought against British imperialism.

Is this information important to you?

It IS important to me.

Although many people in Canada like to vote for various political parties.  Here is info regarding the Canadian political parties (I copied from online ):

  • Liberal Party: Justin Trudeau (Minority Government)
  • Conservative Party: Andrew Scheer (Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition)
  • New Democratic Party: Jagmeet Singh.
  • Bloc Québécois: Yves-François Blanchet.
  • Green Party: Jo-Ann Roberts (interim)
  • People's Party of Canada: Maxime Bernier.

Even though Justin Trudeau was re-elected as our Canadian Prime Minister, the New Democratic Party (NDP), received many votes, that would have created Jagmeet Singh as our Canadian Prime Minister, had NDP received enough votes.

Here is a link for an article for you to read about New Democratic Party

Even though I let you know that I mentioned a bit about our Canadian political parties, I will only finish discussing about it, tomorrow... and will remind you about what I posted, just now.

To be honest, I am feeling okay, but a bit nervous.

I'm letting you know about a situation that I believe is happening, here in Canada... that may not be good for everyone.

Thinking about that, made me think about Matthew 10:31, "Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.".

Amen!  Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Yes, I absolutely trust God.

I believe He thinks I am important.

For that, I thank You, Lord!
