What a Blessing!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll let you know something.

Here is a link for an article by ottawasun.com that is entitled, YOU SAID IT:  Trudeau dominant?https://ottawasun.com/opinion/letters/you-said-it-trudeau-dominant.

Hopefully, you read that article.  I did!  Here is what was stated (I copied/pasted):

Letters to the editor for Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020: Justin Trudeau, Greta Thunberg, Ontario health care system.
TRUDEAU DOMINANT?
Re: Rise of Fords to power was political story of decade; Decade In Review 2010-2020, Dec. 30
I agree with much of Jim Warren’s Dec. 30 column regarding a “Decade in Review.” However, his thoughts regarding PM Trudeau are more than a bit problematic. What was he referring to when he stated that Justin Trudeau dominated the global stage? How, other than embarrassing Canadians on a regular basis: i.e. family holiday vacation in India, his over-the-top statement at the time of the death of Fidel Castro, his admiration of the basic Chinese dictatorial government and complete continuing rudeness in referring to U.S. President Trump as well as too many other times to mention?
The PM has not dominated much in Canada, either, except that he is continually in the news for his dismal performance … unless Canadians are in love with the increased usage of cannabis, his blackface immaturity, drinking out of water box things and placing Canada in a never-ending deficit by his outrageous spending and election promises with no thought as to the future economy of our country.
I realize that Trudeau, although difficult to understand why, was re-elected, but hopefully, whenever the next election happens, he will be sent packing out of Ottawa back to what it appears is his only concern: the province of Quebec.
Wow!

To me... what a blessing!

Why?

If ever you've read a lot about what I wrote in the past here on LwL. regarding our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau... you would realize that I am not alone in my thinking regarding him.

That article stated like I have in the past, that Justin Trudeau has his only concern... being... the province of Quebec.

Even though to me, Justin Trudeau is sinful, the person who wrote that article thinks very much like I do!  I actually wonder if that article writer is Christian.  At this time, only God knows.

As I mentioned, it made me feel blessed!

Thinking about that, made me think about  Psalm 1:1, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.".

Amen!  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

As you know, I do NOT walk in the counsel of the ungodly.  And, I only do what God would want me to do.

In fact, I mention about God in many ways, so that anyone who is not a Christian yet, will realize that they have to gain salvation and everlasting life, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ!

Why?

Because if people become a born again Christian, they will spend eternity with Him.

But, if they don't, then when their life ends here on earth, they will then spend eternity in Hell, separated from God... with NO chance of escape.

So, if you are Christian, you will truly be blessed!

Thank You, Lord!

Helped? Helped!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) the last couple days, then you know I was thinking about traveling.

Yes, I wanted to visit family and friends in various countries.

However, I also wanted to go to Israel!

Just so you know, I had been there in the past, but in my heart, I felt that I wanted to travel to visit... and... go to Israel, again.

Just as I was shocked about what was happening with cruises... and/or flying... I also found out more that was sad to me.

Here is a foxnews.com article entitled, Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity closing, tourists banned before Easter season over coronavirus fearshttps://www.foxnews.com/travel/bethlehems-church-nativity-closing-easter-coronavirus.
Please click on that link and read that article.  I'll share a bit (I copied/pasted):
The Church of the Nativity in biblical Bethlehem has been closed over coronavirus fears, the Palestinian tourism ministry announced Thursday. The move comes after the first cases of the virus were reported in the area.
The Church of the Nativity in biblical Bethlehem has been closed over coronavirus fears, the Palestinian tourism ministry announced Thursday. The move comes after the first cases of the virus were reported in the area.
Oooeee!
As I mentioned... those things that happened... truly touched my heart.

Obviously, you can realize that the problem in the world regarding Coronavirus has affected people... not just physically... but also financially... and emotionally.

Anyone like me who was hoping to travel... and prayed, would have realized that they would need to pray... so that God could help them decide what to do.... much like I mentioned before.

Yes, it IS wonderful praying.

To me... it makes me happy to pray.

Thinking about that, made me think about Proverbs 3:13, "Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.".

Amen!  Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

Yes, I talked with friends and relatives.

But... it was God who helped me.

If you belong to Him... He will also help you!

If you don't yet belong to God, repent from sin... and gain salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

If you do... you'll belong to God... and will be loved, cared for.... and truly blessed.

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Barred Entry...

Did you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday?

If you did, you would know that I had hoped to travel for a while.

Although I mentioned about how I wanted to take a cruise, I should let you know that I was also needing to fly.

Unfortunately, there have even been problems about flying. :'(

Here is a timesofisrael.com article that is entitled, German airlines cancel Israel flights over virus restrictionshttps://www.timesofisrael.com/german-airlines-cancel-israel-flights-over-virus-restrictions/.

Hopefully, you clicked on the link and read the article.  I can only share a bit (I copied/pasted)

Lufthansa and subsidiaries Swiss, Austrian Airlines suspend Tel Aviv routes until March 28 after Israel bars entry to non-residents from five European nations

Airline giant Lufthansa said Thursday it was canceling all flights to Israel until March 28, after the Jewish state barred entry to almost all non-resident arrivals from five European nations including Germany over coronavirus fears.
“The Lufthansa group sees itself forced to make this cancellation for economic and operational reasons, as many passengers are no longer entitled to enter the country,” the group said in a statement.
Flights to Tel Aviv and Eilat by Lufthansa and subsidiaries Swiss and Austrian Airlines will be canceled from Sunday, March 8, until the end of the winter timetable on March 28.

Meanwhile some flights will be halted on Friday and Saturday “as also flight crews are affected by these new restrictions.”
Israel on Wednesday barred entry to almost all non-residents of the Jewish state arriving from France, Germany, Spain, Austria and Switzerland.
With all these not great things happening, I prayed... for all those people... and for me.

Thinking about that, made me think about Proverbs 3:6, "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.".

Amen!  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I knew that God would help me decide what to do.

After all, He is so very important to me.

I love Him.

And He loves me.

Hallelujah!

Travel...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I thought I'd let you know something.

It's something I was hoping to begin doing a while ago.

Any idea?

Travel.

I was planning to go on a cruise.  I adore cruises!

But there has been many problems happening.

Here is a montrealgazette.com article entitled, Montreal couple aboard 'Diamond Princess': 'Get us off the ship'https://montrealgazette.com/news/local-news/montreal-couple-aboard-diamond-princess-get-us-off-the-ship.

Hopefully, you read that article.  I can only share a bit (I copied/pasted):

A Montreal couple quarantined aboard the Diamond Princess in Japan are accusing Canadian authorities of jeopardizing their safety as the number of coronavirus infections has soared to more than 170 on the cruise ship in less than two weeks.

“We’re like sitting ducks,” said Bryan Doyle, arguing that the luxury liner has become an “incubator” for the highly infectious bug. Although at least 2,500 passengers are confined to their cabins, more than 1,000 crew members are free to circulate around the ship and they share sleeping quarters. Midday Wednesday, the New York Times was reporting that a Japanese health official who had boarded the ship to survey passengers has tested positive and is now in quarantine in the port of Yokohama.

Doyle and his wife, Lucie Mauro, have appealed to the Canadian embassy in Japan and Global Affairs Canada in Ottawa to take them off the ship — along with the other Canadian passengers — and fly them back home. But Canadian authorities have ignored their pleas, Doyle charged.

To me, it was sad that it stated that 'Canadian authorities have ignored their pleas'.

Here is a nationalpost.com article entitled, Stranded cruise ship rejected by fifth nation as coronavirus death toll surpasses 1,000https://nationalpost.com/news/world/stranded-cruise-ship-rejected-by-fourth-nation-as-coronavirus-death-toll-surpasses-1000.

Did you read that article?  I'll share a bit (I copied/pasted):

Passengers know little about their circumstances, when supplies and food will run out and if they will disembark soon

The 2,257 passengers and crew onboard the Westerdam luxury liner are in limbo once again after Thailand became the latest country to turn the ship away from its ports, leaving guests desperate to disembark after almost two weeks at sea.

I didn't share much, but you can realize that people on those cruises were experiencing troubles... by countries. :'(

Yes, this happened a while ago... but it was when I was thinking about going on a cruise!

The cruise I wanted to go on, would have made it for me to easily go and see family and friends.

Later, I would have gone to see family and friends also in other countries.

With all those problems happening, I prayed for those people... and prayed about what I should do.

Why?

Because I trust God.

Thinking about that, made me think about Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.".

Amen! Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Yes, I trusted in Him.

As I always do... and always will.

Hallelujah!

Forever!

On Life with Lynnie (LwL), I usually let you know that today is a special day, because it is SONday!.

It is our day of worship.

And, as I've said in the past, we can also worship through music.

Here is a hymn by Francis Rous that is entitled, The Lord's My Shepherdhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDAIwMvFcXQ.  If you click on the link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

The Lord's My Shepherd
The Lord's my Shepherd, I'll not want;
he makes me down to lie
in pastures green; he leadeth me
the quiet waters by.

My soul he doth restore again,
and me to walk doth make
within the paths of righteousness,
e'en for his own name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through death's dark vale,
yet will I fear none ill,
for thou art with me; and thy rod
and staff me comfort still.
My table thou hast furnished
in presence of my foes;
my head thou dost with oil anoint,
and my cup overflows.
Goodness and mercy all my life
shall surely follow me;
and in God's house forevermore
my dwelling place shall be.
...and in God's house forevermore
my dwelling place shall be.

Yes... this hymn truly touches my heart.

Not just because it refers to God.

But also because it was created by our Bible's... Psalm 23.

Thinking about that, made me decide to share with you, Psalm 23, 1-6, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.".
Amen!  Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life... and I will dwell in the house of the Lord... forever!
Why?
Because I belong to Him!
Do you belong to Him?
If you've trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then like me, you will have gained salvation and everlasting life.
And will dwell in the house of the Lord... forever.
Hallelujah!
Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Hallelujah!

Hopefully, you will enjoy what I'll be doing today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

I'll share with you... movies!

*  Caught, starring James Mason, Barbara Bel Geddes and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American film noirhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caught_(1949_film).  I found it sad.

Detective Story, starring Kirk Douglas, Eleanor Parker and other actors.  To check out this film noir, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detective_Story_(1951_film).  It was good to watch.

Dangerous Passage, starring Robert Lowery, Phyllis Brooks and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American film noir drama film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dangerous_Passage.  Do you wonder if I liked it?  I did!

His Kind of Woman, starring Vincent Price, Jane Russell and other actors.  Please click on this link, to check out this American black-and-white film noir: .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/His_Kind_of_Woman.  I enjoyed it.

The House on Telegraph Hill, starring Richard Basehart, Valentina Cortese and other actors.  If you want to check out this American film noir, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_on_Telegraph_Hill.  I liked it, especially the ending.

It's not surprising to me that the people in each of these movies I mentioned about, had troubles in their lives.

Thinking about that made me think about 1 Peter 4:12, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:".

Amen!  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:.

Yes, strange things do happen to people.

And, can affect us... in many ways.

But, if you are a Christian believer... because you gained salvation and everlasting life, because you trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you would read the Bible... and realize that even though we will/may have troubles in our lives, He will always be there for us and will help us.

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Please... Sign Petition and Pray!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I truly feel badly about.

Although I received an e-mail message from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ)… somehow I didn't even see it and/or read it... until recently.

Even so, I decided to share it with you... for even though it's much later, I believe you can do what you can.

Here is the ACLJ e-mail message I'd like you to read and deal with (I copied/pasted):

Lynn,

2020 is off to a deadly start for Nigeria's Christians.

Boko Haram - the deadly Islamic militia pledged to ISIS - just beheaded a Christian Pastor who was recently seen in a hostage video telling the world: "Don't cry. Don't worry. But thank God for everything."

His faith is humbling. This atrocity is infuriating.

In the same week, jihadists attacked a Nigerian village and murdered two teenage Christian girls.

This madness has to end. But the Nigerian government continues to do nothing. If no one intervenes, the outlook for Christians in Nigeria-and honestly across Africa-looks bleak.

We pray for murdered Pastor Lawan's family and for Leah Sharibu, the Christian teenager who remains a prisoner of Boko Haram because she won't convert to Islam.

But along with prayer, we must act. Our legal teams have stood before the U.N. many times. In 3 days, we are submitting a written submission at the U.N. Human Rights Council, urging action from world leaders to stop this violence and hold the extremist perpetrators accountable so that this never happens again.

Every Christian deserves to worship and live in peace, without fear of violence. Stand with us, as we stand for them.

Jordan Sekulow
ACLJ Executive Director

It truly broke my heart... reading this later... than when I received it.

Even so, I am glad I was able to share this ACLJ e-mail message with you.

As I have mentioned in the past... if you live in USA, please... click on the petition link... and sign the petition.

I live in Canada, so I cannot sign the petition.  Nor can anyone else... who does NOT live in USA.

If you can, please... sign the petition, for if you can, you can support Christians who need help that ACLJ works hard, to do!

Thinking about that, made me think about Acts 20:35, "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.".

Amen!  I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Please, be a blessing and sign the petition, if you can.

If you can... or if you can't... please pray.

Prayer is so very important!

For we believers will be able to pray for fellow Christians who are being hurt... injured/damaged... and/or murdered by Muslims.

I ask you to do all you can... for if you do, I believe you will be able to help Christians in Africa, who are in need of help.

And, if you do, I also believe God will bless you.

Thank you!

Thank You, Lord!
