There is something I want to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Here is an article by that is entitled, Trudeau says regulating social media 'hate speech' is 'top priority' for heritage minister

I can't share the entire article, but will share part of it (I copied/pasted):

Canada’s new heritage minister must work to regulate social media companies that don’t swiftly remove “hate speech” from their platforms, according to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Trudeau’s mandate letter for Minister Steven Guilbeault was released Friday morning, laying out what Trudeau sees as being the “top priorities” for the file.

“(You will) create new regulations for social media platforms, starting with a requirement that all platforms remove illegal content, including hate speech, within 24 hours or face significant penalties,” wrote Trudeau.

“This should include other online harms such as radicalization, incitement to violence, exploitation of children, or creation or distribution of terrorist propaganda.”

The letter does not define “hate speech,” nor does it suggest Guilbeault must work to come up with a definition. While the Criminal Code defines it with a very high threshold, the government has entertained efforts to regulate online hate speech through human rights law instead.

How awful it is, that people who don't agree with our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, will be treated badly... if/when they feel they speak truth is hated by Justin Trudeau... instead of being accepted as being freedom of speech.

Please realize that because Justin Trudeau is NOT a born again Christian, he doesn't seem to like what is sometimes stated, even though what is mentioned is based upon what God's Word, the Bible... lets us know about.

Much like I've mentioned about gaining salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

And other things mentioned.

Thinking of that, made me think of John 16:1, "These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.".

Amen!  These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.

Anyone who is a born again Christian, is not... and will not be offended.

After all, what we are told, in God's Word, the Bible, when we are Christian, we realize truth is being mentioned.

Do you read the Bible?

I do.

If you don't, then I would suggest you read the Bible.

If you haven't yet read the Bible, then I would suggest you begin reading the book of John, in the New Testament portion... and read to the end of the Bible.

Then after, begin reading the first book... Genesis... in  the Old Testament portion of the Bible... and read to the very end of the Bible.

Hopefully, you will.

If you do, God will bless you.

Until next time...
