Life-support & Prayer...

I feel you need to know about something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's regarding how life isn't great.  Not just for me, but also for other people.

Here is an article on that is entitled, 3-year-old boy stabbed in Winnipeg to be taken off life-support, aunt says:

Here is some of what the article stated (I copied/pasted):

A three-year-old boy stabbed multiple times while sleeping in his Winnipeg home — leading to a man being charged with attempted murder — will be taken off life-support, his aunt says.

"[He] went for a MRI and he has severe brain damage. He's not gonna make it," Roxanne Moar told CBC News in a text message.

Hunter Straight-Smith was found with multiple stab wounds when police arrived at a house in the city's North End at about 2:30 a.m. CT Wednesday.

Hunter was in grave condition in hospital, given two blood transfusions and placed on life-support.
It also stated (I copied/posted):

Daniel Jensen, 33, has been charged with attempted murder and assault causing bodily harm, as well as six counts of failing to comply with conditions of a recognizance and failing to comply with a probation order.

To me, it's terrible that the 3-year-old boy was stabbed and had to have life-support.

Has anything like that happened to anyone you know?

It happened to my husband, when was in the hospital.

After my husband's  life-support had been removed, he died about 12:25 am, on October 10, 2009... the Saturday of our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend... on which my heart is broken every year.

Even though I felt troubled, I suffered grief, I prayed... and relied on God to help me.

Thinking about that, made me think of Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.".

Amen!  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Please realize that my heart is broken for the mother, family and friends who will lose, or may have already lost that 3-year-old boy whose life was to be ended.

Please pray... especially for the 3-year-old son's mom, who was also in the hospital, due to being hurt, physically.

If you pray, I believe God will bless you.

Thank you!

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
