Family?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll remind you that today is... our day of worship.

I'll also share some music, because we can worship through music!

Here is a link for a hymn on YouTube by Bill Gaither entitled, The Family of Godhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj97unXda6c.  If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

The Family of God

For I'm part of the family,
the family of God.

Now you will notice we say "brother
and sister" 'round here-
It's because we're a family and these folks are so near;
When one has a heartache
we all share the tears,
And rejoice in each victory
in this family so dear
I'm so glad I'm a part
of the family of God-
I've been washed in the fountain,
cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus
as we travel this sod,
For I'm part of the family,
the family of God.

From the door of an orphanage
to the house of the King-
No longer an outcast,
a new song I sing;
From rags unto riches,
from the weak to the strong,
I'm not worthy to be here,
But, praise God, I belong!

I'm so glad I'm a part
of the family of God-
I've been washed in the fountain,
cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus
as we travel this sod,
For I'm part of the family,
the family of God.
Yes I'm part of the family,
the family of God.
Amen!!!  Yes... I am part of the family of God... for He has accepted me!
Thinking of that, made me think of Ephesians 1:4-6, "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.".
Amen!
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
I belong to Him.
He accepted me.
Do you belong to Him?
If you trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you will gain salvation and everlasting life... and will be accepted to Him.
Hallelujah!
Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
