Here on LwL, there is something I feel I want to let you know about... and will also mention something to you as well.
Here is a link for an article by cbsnews.com that is entitled, Carnival ships collide in Mexico, injuring 6: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/carnival-ships-collide-in-mexico-watch-video-today-2019-12-20/.
In case you couldn't click on the link to read it, I decided to share the information with you, what was stated (I copied/pasted):
Passengers watched in shock as two Carnival Cruise Line ships collided near the Cozumel, Mexico, port on Friday. The slow-moving collision was caught on video by many onlookers.
"Carnival Glory had [a collision] with Carnival Legend this morning in Cozumel. Carnival Glory was in the process of docking when it made contact with Carnival Legend which was already docked," the company said in a statement provided to CBS News.
lready docked," the company said in a statement provided to CBS News.
The cruise line initially told WTSP that there has only been one minor injury reported from a Glory guest, but later said six passengers with minor injuries were being evaluated at the ship's medical center.
It also stated (I copied/pasted):
Carnival Legend is based out of Tampa and Carnival Glory is based out of New Orleans, WTSP reports. According to Carnival's website, the Glory is 952 feet long and can carry as many as 2,980 passengers, while the Legend can carry 2,124.
Sigh...
.
I realize that because this happened you may feel upset... and maybe won't want to go on a cruise.
Do I feel that way?
NO!
Yes, I feel badly for those who were hurt/injured.
I prayed and will continue to pray for them.
Even though it isn't good what happened, I will always go on a cruise, if I can!
Why?
I enjoy traveling... and going on cruises... on various cruise lines!
To be honest, I adore being on a cruise... no matter when it has been, and where the cruise was going to.
Trouble like that issue has never happened when I was on a cruise.
Even though I've not let you know, I have been on many cruises with many cruise lines, in the past... over many years!
And, if I can go on more cruises, I will!
Please realize that before I've gone on a cruise, I've always prayed.
And, God always provided for me.
Thinking about that, made me think of Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.".
Amen! But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Because I am a believer who belongs to Him, He has proveded for me, protected me and supplied my needs in many ways, in many situations, especially when traveling and being on cruises.
For this, I am truly thankful!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
