Faith?

Did you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday?

Hopefully, you did read LwL, yesterday.  If you didn't... please read it, now... before you finish reading today's LwL entry.

If you read LwL yesterday, you'll realize that it was posted what I will share with you, now (I copied/pasted):

Canada has tried to ease the burden under a marquee Liberal program that originated in a campaign promise during the 2015 election.

That year, Trudeau promised to bring 25,000 Syrians to Canada and it is four years ago this month that the Liberal government kicked off a multi-billion-dollar program, in Jordan, that would eventually see nearly 40,000 Syrians arrive.

Our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau spoke with King Abdullah II from Jordan... just as you partially read just now, or fully read in LwL's entry, yesterday.

Sigh...

Do you honestly think it is good that Trudeau promised to bring 25,000 Syrians to Canada... and will eventually see nearly 40,000 Syrians arrive?

To me, it is NOT good.

Not just because the Syrians are Muslim.

After all... people who apply to come to Canada... can... not be accepted... yet some ARE accepted.

BUT, Trudeau has allowed MANY illegal immigrants to enter Canada... and be supported, financially... even if though they may... or may not be ISIS members.

Am I the only person in the world who thinks we shouldn't allow that to happen?

NO.

Here is a YouTube video entitled, Polish MP: Our country is safe because we did not accept illegal immigrantshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzfPVQJ8C2g&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR1sG2ky0VGrTESapNliq8HHTHOFMEeezeX0IqJ9DPzOBoRq9Dzpc73VUjA.

Please click on that link, and watch/listen to that video.

If you did, then you'll realize that Poland is truly safe.

Hallelujah!

I'm happy for Poland... and I am truly unhappy for Canada... my country... for we have illegal immigrants... and may not be safe in the future.

Plus, Canada is not being treated safe, financially... for there are some Canadians who are not being supported well, financially. Even though they need to be.

Yet... the illegal immigrants and other legal immigrants... plus legal and illegal refugees are supported well, financially... by Trudeau's government's work.

Because I thought about that, I recalled 1 Timothy 5:8, "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.".

Amen!  But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Worth than an infidel?

Infidel = unbeliever.

Please, join me in prayer... that Trudeau will become a Christian believer, by gaining salvation and everlasting life... as I mentioned yesterday.

Hopefully, he will  NOT become Islamic... even though he is truly in full support of Muslims.

If you pray. I believe God will bless you.

Thank you!

Thank You, Lord!

Is He Wicked?

There's something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

So, I'll share you an article by theglobeandmail.com that is entitled, Trudeau Liberals will turn on the spending taps to get, keep opposition support in minority parliamenthttps://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-trudeau-liberals-will-turn-on-the-spending-taps-to-get-keep/?fbclid=IwAR38ToqLu5N0UJAs641COHO1hq8FqnSFM6Scllen7PppQM-ZdZIvNvet4k0.

Please click on that link and read the article.  I will share a bit of what was stated (I copied/pasted):

Do you favour activist progressive government? Well you’re about to get one whether you like it or not.

After cordial meetings with Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh last week, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau clearly has a green light to move on an agenda centred on fighting climate change, spending heavily on infrastructure and implementing pharmacare.

Such an agenda will lead to deficits until the cows come home. But Liberals no longer care about deficits, and the federal NDP and Bloc never did. We’re going to party like it’s 1972.

That was the year when Pierre Trudeau’s Liberals were reduced from majority to minority government, dependent for survival on David Lewis’s NDP. To earn their support, the Liberals increased pension benefits, exempted hundreds of thousands of people from paying income tax and created Petro-Canada. Progressives look back on the period fondly. And all that spending helped secure a Liberal majority in the 1974 election.

This is also when a federal budget surplus turned into a deficit, one that deepened with the passing years, lasting into the early 1990s. Ending those deficits led to shortages of doctors, swollen class sizes and crumbling bridges. But anyone in their mid-40s or younger will have little or no memory of the pain Canadians endured in the mid-1990s, as the federal and provincial governments brought their deficits under control.

Today, just as in 1972, the Liberals must spend to survive. As well, they know that the route to obtaining a majority in the next election lies through picking up seats in Ontario and Quebec – the West is a writeoff – and the best way to win those seats is by spending.

Hopefully, you read the entire article.  I couldn't share it fully with you.

I'll show you what was stated at the end of the article (I copied/pasted):

It will all end in tears, of course. Debt-fuelled spending always does. But that will be for another government, in another day.

Sigh...

Yes, it was stated that the debt will be for another government.

Even though Justin Trudeau was re-elected as our Canadian Prime Minister in 2019, Canada will obviously owe.

To me, I believe that is awful.

Thinking about that, made me think about Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.".

Amen!  The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

Since Justin Trudeau IS NOT Christian, he is NOT doing what God would want him to do.

So, please join me in prayer... that Justin Trudeau will gain salvation and everlasting life, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

If he does become Christian, he will then help Canada... by repaying debt.  And, will do other things to improve Canada and help Canadians.

Thank you... for praying.

May God bless you!

Rejoice!

Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday... and the day before.

If you haven't, please read them now, because you will realize that Don Cherry has been hurt and treated evil by people I believe were non-Christian/unbelievers.

To me, that is not-unusual.

Why?

Because Don Cherry IS Christian.

And, Christians are quite often treated badly in an evil way.

If you want to find out about Don Cherry, read this article by christopherapage.com that is entitled, Stanley Cup Special part 2 - In the Corner -Don Cherry CBC broadcaster:  http://christopherapage.com/uncategorized/stanley-cup-special-part-2-in-the-corner-don-cherry-cbc-broadcaster/.

If you can read this article, it would be a blessing.  I wuill share some of what was stated (I copied/pasted):

Last time I wrote about an icon of U.S. hockey broadcasting – Doc Emrick, and his faith in God.  Today, I will do the same north of the border.  I grew up watching Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday nights.  Coaches Corner was always an entertaining part of the program.  In that brief segment during the first intermission, host Ron MacLean and former NHL coach Don Cherry would give their opinion about something that was going on in the hockey world at the time.  Don Cherry tends to be a very divisive figure.  He is loud (both in voice and in wardrobe), opinionated, and outspoken.  He would occasionally spark controversy with his comments and people tend to either love him or hate him.  But enough people loved him that he was named to MacLean Magazine (no relation to Ron that I know of) as one of the 10 greatest Canadians in history.  I didn’t mind him most of the time.  He is entertaining and passionate about hockey and I can get that.

It also stated (I copied/pasted):

In this video, Cherry speaks of a desperate prayer that he made at the age of 36, worried about what the future would hold.  He felt God answer his prayer by telling him to “go back to hockey” and 2 years later, he is coaching in the N.H.L. In the book “Along Came God: Miracles in Everyday Life” by George Slater. Cherry tells his journey from being unemployed to His successful return to hockey.  The credit?  Cherry says “I remember my first game behind the Boston bench[…] I thought back to my room in Rochester where I couldn’t get a job sweeping floors and how I asked the Lord for help and to show me the way[…] In only three years He pointed the way back and I was on top of the world. In just three years, and they say there is no God!” The Lord rescued me in my darkest hour.  If you are having a hard time in life like I was and you believe, He will help you”.
Here are my takeaways from Cherry’s story:
1- Pray for Help and Be Willing to Work –  Cherry had reached his end.  He prayed for help and God directed him back to hockey.  But he had some work to do to get back in game shape.  He was 25 pounds overweight.  He was 36 years old.  But he worked hard to lose the weight and get back into game shape and made the team.  God has a plan and power to carry out that plan but he also gives us the chance to be obedient.  Cherry trusted God and went to work.  What has God called you to?  Are you ready to put in the work of obedience to Him?  If so, prepare yourself.  He can take us far beyond our greatest dream or our most extravagant imagination.
2- Ready to Give Back –  Near the end of the interview with Lorna Dueck, Cherry talks about speaking with kids, talking about the hard issue of suicide.  Now I don’t know how close Cherry was to going down that road, but he says repeatedly in the articles that I read that it was his darkest, most depressing time of his life.  That was when he called out to God and God answered his prayer.  Now he is speaking to those who are battling through some dark days.  He spoke in the interview of second chances.  We have all been given a second chance.  (and many more than that even).  We deserve death as a penalty for our disobedience to God, but Jesus paid that death penalty for us and offers us a second chance.
3- Who do you worship –  The interview and the stories that I read often referred to hockey as the national religion of Canada.  Sadly, I think there is some truth to that – but it is not just a problem of Canadian hockey fans.  We all have things that we worship and make more important than God.  Work, family, money, stuff, celebrities, just to name a few examples.  But in the end, all of those will fall short and let us down.  God is the only One that is worthy of our worship.  Let’s keep Him as the focus of our life and let’s save our worship for Him alone!
4- No expectation of perfection – The temptation can be to think that  so-and-so can’t possible be a Christian – look at what they say or what they do.  I’ve seen them ____ fill in the blank with a sin or behavior that is unacceptable for a Christian to do.  And there is something to be said about the fruit that our lives produce. But would I ever hate to have that lens pointed at my life.  Cherry knows that he is still messes up.  ““I always get a guilty feeling about them, and I try to smarten up the next time.”  I hope that we can all understand that we make mistakes and learn from them.
Wow!

What a blessing Don Cherry has been!

I do believe that in the past, Don Cherry was happy with those people who were happy and felt badly for those who felt bad and/or cried.

Thinking about that, made me think of Roman's 12:15, "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.".

Amen!  Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Please realize that Don Cherry is going through a horrible time in his life... persecution, while he has been good to people.

So, as God wants us to do, if ever I'm able to see him here on earth, I'll know if I will rejoice with him, or cry with him, regarding the persecution he has been going through.

However, knowing that he is getting older, I may not ever see him here on earth.

But, I know that once both our lives end here on earth, I'll see him, when we are both with our Lord, Jesus Christ... who we gained salvation and everlasting life with, because we both trusted in/believed upon Him.

When that happens, I will rejoice!

For this, I am truly thankful!

Thank You, Lord!

Would It Be A Blessing? Amen!

Did you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday?

If you didn't, please read it now.

After all, yesterday's LwL entry, was about Don Cherry.

And, today, I'll be letting you know more about him.

Here is an article by msn.com that is entitled, Don Cherry's name removed from WHL's annual 'Suits up' fundraising gameshttps://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nhl/don-cherrys-name-removed-from-whls-annual-suits-up-fundraising-games/ar-BBYQmQQ?ocid=spartandhp.

Please click on that link, to read the article. I'm sharing some of what was stated (I copied/pasted)

Months after former hockey broadcaster Don Cherry was embroiled in controversy over questionable comments, the Western Hockey League (WHL) has removed his name from a series of organ donation fundraising games.

It also stated (I copied/pasted):

Cherry, former co-host of the Coach's Corner segment of Hockey Night in Canada, was fired by Sportsnet in November after comments he made during one of his weekly segments, suggesting immigrants weren't wearing poppies ahead of Remembrance Day.

“You people … you love our way of life, you love our milk and honey, at least you can pay a couple bucks for a poppy or something like that,” Cherry said at the time.
“These guys paid for your way of life that you enjoy in Canada, these guys paid the biggest price.”
If you watch the video at the beginning of the article, you could be heart-broken... like me.

The man in the video spoke against Don Cherry... and even sweared.

As I mentioned previously, I believe Don Cherry has been treated badly... and hurt over and over, again.  Even though I believe Don Cherry should NOT be hurt by people... because he has been a blessing to many people... including my dad when he was alive, as I mentioned in the past.

I feel it's been evilness done by that man in the video... and by anyone else who has hurt Don Cherry.

To me, that man in the video was being evil... because he is NOT willing to be good to Don Cherry, because he is NOT Christian.

If that video man had became a Christian, I believe he would not have been evil.

Instead, he could have overcome evil, with being good.

Thinking about that, made me think of Romans 12:21, "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.".

Amen!  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Even though I'm praying for Don Cherry, I'm also praying that the video man will become Christian.

All he will have to do is gain salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

If he does that, I believe God will lead him to no longer be evil.

That would truly be a blessing.

Hallelujah!

Don Cherry...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I feel I need to let you know about.

Here is a link, for an article by thepostmillennial.com that is entitled, A response to Don Cherry's firing from a daughter of immigrantshttps://www.thepostmillennial.com/a-response-to-don-cherrys-firing-from-a-daughter-of-immigrants/?fbclid=IwAR2wUi9sBmcmxR99bZ3-GGujsaKqte9za9ie0uCfNZIeWmBCMpwllEUlUKk.

I hope you read the article.  I will share a bit of what was stated (I copied/pasted):

One evening our neighbours came over for dinner. They asked my parents, “Where are you from?”
My father’s response, “We are from Poland, but now we are Canadian.”
It also stated (I copied/pasted):

Political correctness and cancel culture have taken leaps forward while moving us, a free society, backwards.
People are scared to speak honestly or have different views. Even the slightest amount of patriotism can be construed as racism or white supremacy.
Don Cherry, 85, has just been fired from Sportsnet where he has been hosting Hockey Night in Canada for 38 years. This may qualify him as a Canadian treasure–but not even a beloved Canadian sports host can escape the outrage culture we live in.
His recent on-air rant about the lack of poppies worn around Toronto in which he used the term “you people” has gotten him canceled.
What’s even more crazy is that he was fired on Remembrance Day, for defending the poppy and our veterans.
In 2016, Toronto.ca shows that 47 percent of Torontonians are immigrants. And let’s not forget immigrants come from all over the world.
ome on, are we really outraged by him? Or is he a brass old man with such a huge personality he can hardly wear a simple black suit.
People will search for any miniscule thing to be outraged about so they can shut down anyone that doesn’t follow their PC rules.
Even then, no one has taken it very seriously–with intention to hurt someone.
Also, for anyone who knows Cherry well, knows he uses the expression “you people” in his colloquial way of speaking.
“The war is over, we forget about it now. All you people out there [showing your support this week] that’s terrific. If you think anything of it, you’ll do what you should do,” said Cherry in Oct. of 2014.
Again, my parents are immigrants–and they’re white as snow. The most spice they use on their food is salt and pepper.
Not once did Cherry mention race or colour in what has been dubbed his “anti-immigration rant”.
When I first heard the clip, I didn’t even flinch until someone paused it and said, “He’s in trouble for saying ‘you people’.”
Not only did I roll my eyes I went on my own little rant.
You people means you people. “You people” meaning the people that come to our great country and don’t assimilate, meaning respect the customs and traditions of this great country.
The people who want our freedom because they didn’t have it back home yet won’t give a dollar to help our veterans who fought for that freedom.
The people that love our democracy, our free speech, our freedom to practice their religion but won’t honor the soldiers that made all of that possible.
Cherry isn’t wrong. What’s wrong is when a Canadian–born or immigrated– doesn’t show the respect that our veterans deserve.
I can proudly say my immigrant parents wear a poppy. They love this country and are grateful to be here.
Sigh...

My parents also felt that everyone needed to wear a poppy.

Just like what was created years ago.

Not like what some people think can be changed.

And as a child, I learned to do it... the correct way... that was created to honour Remembrance Day!,

After all, both my parents were in the Canadian army, during WW2.

But, I also need to mention that my grandparents were all from England, Northern Ireland, and Bukovina... that disappeared during WW1 and became Ukraine and Romania... which is in eastern Europe.

So, to me, it was not good that the person from Poland was being nasty to Canada's Canadians like Don Cherry... and to everyone else  who realizes that we need to support veterans and military people, not even just from past wars, but those who work, support and do all they can to protect us... even now.

To me, that person was evil.

Please realize that if I wanted to be evil to her, I could be...but I WON'T be.

Why?

God doesn't want us to be evil.

He wants us to be truthful... which is why I am speaking/writing truth.

Thinking about that, made me think of Romans 12:17, "Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.".

Amen!  Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Hopefully, you realize that it could be easy for anyone to treat that person badly, the way she treated Don Cherry.

However, we truly need to be honest... to her and to everyone who refuses to be supportive.

Plus, I believe we need to pray for her... just as I am doing.

If you pray for her, I believe God will bless you.

Thank you!

Thank You, Lord!

Work!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll share something with you.

Why?

Well, today... is our day of worship.

Even though we worship with church family, we can also worship through music!

So, I'll share some music with you!

Here is a link for a YouTube music video hymn that is entitled, Have Thine Own Way, Lordhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSnBbgsecD4.  If you click on the link, you can see it, listen to it and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

Have Thine Own Way, Lord

Have Thine own way Lord
Have Thine own way
Thou art the potter I am the clay
Mold me and make me after Thy will
While I am waiting yielded and still
Have Thine own way Lord
Have Thine own way
Search me and try me Master today
Whiter than snow Lord wash me just now
As in Thy presence humbly I bow
(Have Thine own way Lord
Have Thine own way
Hold over my being absolute sway
Filled with Thy spirit till all can see
Christ only always living in me)

Even though some hymns are not totally recorded, I adore listening to the music.

Hopefully, you do, also!

These lyrics touched my heart, because they refer to our Lord... who is our potter.... and refers to us who belong to Him, because... we are the clay.

Thinking about that, made me think of Isaiah 64:8, "But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.".

Amen!  But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Yes, we do work for Him, when we belong to Him.

I do.

Do you?

Hopefully, you do... for if you do, I believe He will bless you.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Many Ways!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will share some things with you.

Any idea?

I'll share some movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

The Fugitive Kind, starring Marlon Brando, AnnaMagnani and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fugitive_Kind.  I found it good to watch.

September (2007), starring Xavier Samuel, Clarence John Ryan and other actors.  To check out this Australian drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_(2007_film).  I found it interesting to see.

Fool for Love, starring Sam Shepard, Kim Basinger and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American drama film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fool_for_Love_(film).  Did I like this movie?  Yes!  I did!

The Paper Chase, starring Timothy Bottoms, Lindsay Wagner and other actors.  Please click on this link, to check out this 1973 (drama) filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paper_Chase_(film).  It was interesting.

*  Searching for Bobby Fischer, starring Joe Mantegna, Laurence Fishburne and other actors.  If you would like to check out this American drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Searching_for_Bobby_Fischer.  I enjoyed watching this movie.

Drama movies are emotional in many ways.

Sometimes... happy.

Sometimes... sad.

Much like what life can be for every person.

And, we can also laugh... or cry.

Thinking about that, made me think about Romans 12:15, "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.".

Amen!  Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Yes, I do what God wants me to do, in many ways.

I rejoice with people... when something good happens in their life.

But, I also have wept/cried with some people... when something heart-breaking happened.

To me, God has always helped me... in many ways, since I belong to Him.

For that, I am truly thankful!

Thank You, Lord!

Submit!

There is something I will let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Here is an article by unitedwithisrael.org that is entitled, HEARTBREAKING: "I'm
Scared to Die', 7-Year-Old Girl Cries After Rocket Attackhttps://unitedwithisrael.org/heartbreaking-im-scared-to-die-7-year-old-girl-cries-after-rocket-attack/?utm_source=MadMimi&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Arab+Nation+Shatters+Mideast+Taboo%2C+Welcomes+Israeli+Tourists%21+%E2%80%98I%E2%80%99m+Scared+to+Die%2C%E2%80%99+7-Year-Old+Girl+Cries+After+Rocket+Attack%3B+PA+Calls+Israel+and+ISIS+%E2%80%98Twins%E2%80%99&utm_campaign=20191107_m155054230_Arab+Nation+Shatters+Mideast+Taboo%2C+Welcomes+Israeli+Tourists%21+%E2%80%98I%E2%80%99m+Scared+to+Die%2C%E2%80%99+7-Year-Old+Girl+Cries+After+Rocket+Attack%3B+PA+Calls+Israel+and+ISIS+%E2%80%98Twins%E2%80%99&utm_term=HEARTBREAKING_3A+_E2_80_98I_E2_80_99m+Scared+to+Die_2C_E2_80_99+7-Year-Old+Girl+Cries+After+Rocket+A.

Here is what was stated (I copied/pasted):

Palestinian terrorists in Gaza should be ashamed of themselves for indiscriminately firing rockets and terrifying Israeli children like this seven-year-old girl.

While Adi Hagbi may have run for bomb shelters tens of times in her short life, the experience doesn’t become any less frightening each time Palestinians fire rockets at her hometown in southern Israel.

In this heartbreaking video, the seven-year-old cries out, “Mom, I’m scared,” describing how it feels to hear red alert rocket sirens.

When will terrorists in the Gaza Strip stop firing rockets and missiles at Israeli children? When will the world finally listen to Adi?
Wow!

Talk about fear!

People are being hurt not just physically, but also emotionally, like that 7-year-old-girl.

After all, they are being attacked... over and over and over again.

Who is attacking those people in Israel?

Muslims.

Islamic people think they have a good god.

But, they don't have a good god.

The Islamic god is actually... Satan... the devil... who wants them to convert everyone in the world to become Islamic... but, if people do NOT convert to Islam, then their god, the devil... told them to cut off those people's heads... meaning kill them.

That is opposite what the true God has said, in His Word, the Bible... for He has said that we need to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth... and we should NOT kill them/anyone.

Hopefully, Muslims will realize that they need to gain salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... for if they do, they will belong to God.

As I mentioned, if they and anyone else who has not yet done that, they truly need to submit themselves.

Thinking about that, made me think of James 4:7, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.".

Amen!  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

I belong to God.

Do you?

If you do, then we can spend eternity with Him in Heaven when our life ends here on earth.

However, if you have not gained salvation, before your life ends here on earth, then you will NOT be with Him in Heaven... for you will then spend eternity in Hell... separated from God, with NO chance of escape.

Hopefully, we'll both be in Heaven!

Until next time...
