We Will!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I want to do.

I want to let you know about... movies!

Here are some movies I watched:

Sherlock Holmes:  Terror by Night, starring Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this crime drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terror_by_Night.  I liked it!

Sherlock Holmes:  The Spider Woman, starring Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce and other actors.  To check out this mystery film, click on this linkhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Spider_Woman.  Interesting!

Sherlock Holmes:  Faces Death, starring Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce and other actors.  Would you like to check out this spy adventures mystery film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherlock_Holmes_Faces_Death.  Did I like it?  Yes... I did!

Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon, starring Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce and other actors.  Please click on this link, to check out this spy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherlock_Holmes_and_the_Secret_Weapon.  Enjoyed it!

Sherlock Holmes:  House of Fear, starring Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce and other actors.  If you want to check out this crime film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_of_Fear_(1945_film). Good to watch!

To me... Sherlock Holmes movies are great to watch... because so many times... death could happen... but doesn't.

What a blessing!

After all, NOT everyone belongs to God.

However, if that type of person... who DOES NOT belong to God would live or die... WOULD NOT be with Him.

But, if we belong to Him... we WOULD be with Him.

Thinking about that, made me think about Romans 14. 8, "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.".

Amen!  For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

As I've mentioned in the past... anyone who does NOT belong to Him, will suffer greatly.

Why?

When their life ends here on earth... anyone/everyone who does NOT belong to God... they will spend eternity in Hell... separated from God... with NO chance of escape.

So, if you don't belong to Him yet... pray and decide... that you want to belong to Him... for if you DO belong to Him... then you'll spend eternity with Him... FOREVER.

And He will always love you!

Thank You, Lord!

Please decide.

If you become a true believer, I'll be happy to know you would be with God... like I am and will when my life ends here on earth.

I will pray for you!

Until next time...

In The Presence...

I will mention here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that today is a special day.

It is our day of worship.

Hopefully, you are able to worship with fellow Christians.

If not, hopefully, you will worship with groups on television (TV)... as some people have had to do for a while due to Coronavirus.

Of course, we can also worship through music.

Here is a link for music sung by Laura Hackett Park that is entitled, In the Presence of Angelshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfOTGtX9dyE.  If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

In the Presence of Angels

This is a realm of Your glory
This is a realm of Your grace
I can feel Your mighty power
And It's moving in this place

We're in the presence of the angels
With God's glory on their wings
Like the voice of many waters
I can hear the angels sing

Singing: Holy, holy, holy, holy

This is a realm of Your glory
This is a realm of Your grace
And I can feel Your mighty power
And It's moving in this place

We're in the presence of the angels
With God's glory on their wings
Like the voice of many waters
I can hear the angels sing

Singing: Holy, holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy, holy

Singing: Holy, holy, holy, holy
Singing: Holy, holy, holy, holy
Singing: Holy, holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy,holy
Holy, holy, holy,holy

Singing: Worthy, Worthy, Worthy
Worthy, Worthy, Worthy, Worthy

Holy, holy, holy, holy

Yes!  Amen!

Thinking about that music, made me think about Luke 2:13-14, "And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.".

Amen!  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

It is wonderful that not only angels host... praising God.

It is truly a blessing... that Christians... who belong to God... praise Him!

All I can say... is... hallelujah!

Exalted?

Today, I'll share things with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Like in the past, you'll read about... movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

The Mirror Has Two Faces, starring Barbra Streisand, Jeff Bridges and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American romantic comedy-drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mirror_Has_Two_Faces.  I felt it was wonderful!

Molly, starring Elisabeth Shue, Aaron Eckhart and other actors.  To check out this romantic comedy-drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molly_(1999_film). It was lovely.

Moscow on the Hudson, starring Robin Williams, Maria Conchita Alonso and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American romantic comedy-drama film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_on_the_Hudson.  Would you like to know if I liked it?  I did!

Return to Me, starring David Duchovny, Minnie Driver and other actors.    Please click on this link to check out this romantic comedy-drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Return_to_Me.  I enjoyed it.

Woman of the Year, starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn and other actors.  If you want o check out this American romantic comedy-drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woman_of_the_Year.  I adored it!

Yes, these movies all included romance/love.

But, even though all these movies claimed to be funny/comedy, I didn't find them like that... for they also included troubles in life.

However, in many situations, the relationships seemed to improve.

Yes, people in the movies seemed to be exalted... much like what happens in real life for people who belong to God... and look to Him for help.

Much seemed to be like how God could help... even though He wasn't mentioned in the movies.

Thinking about that made me think about 1 Peter 5:8, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:".

Amen!  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:.

Yes, He WILL exalt you... when you belong to Him.

Do you belong to Him?

Have you gained salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

If you have, then you belong to Him... and He will always exalt you.

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Wonderful!

There is something I want to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It is not regarding an article to read.

It's about... movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

Lawman, starring Burt Lancaster, Lee J. Cobb and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American western filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawman_(film). It was good to see.

Run of the Arrow, starring Rod Steiger, Sara Montiel and other actors.  To check out this western film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Run_of_the_Arrow.  It was interesting.

Good Day for a Hanging, starring Fred MacMurray, Margaret Hayes and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American Western film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Day_for_a_Hanging.  Would you like to know how I felt about this movie?  I'll let you know.  It was shocking and okay... so, I watched it.

The Scalphunters, starring Burt Lancaster, Ossie Davis and other actors.  Please click on this link, to check out this American western filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scalphunters.  I was glad to see it.

The Big Trees, starring Kirk Douglas, Eve Miller and other actors.  If you want to check out this Western film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Trees.  Even though I enjoyed watching it, I found it shocking that a religious group was in the movie... since it wasn't meant to be about... religion... or even... Christianity.

Yes, I enjoyed watching the movies!

However, as you probably read, I felt it was shocking that a religious group was part of that last movie.

Are all religious groups the same?

NO.

However... anyone who is truly Christian... like me... helps to... lead people... to God.

Thinking about that, made me think about John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.".

Amen!  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Yes, Jesus IS wonderful!

And everyone in the world needs to become a believer.

Everyone... who does NOT become a believer... will NOT be able to know God... or... be accepted by Him... or be provided by Him... or even be... loved by Him.

So, please understand that I pray... if you haven't yet done that... you will.

For... if you do become a born again Christian believer... you will belong to Him... just as I do.

And, we will be with Him... during everlasting life... which will be truly... wonderful.

Yes I praise Him.

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Praise!

Today, I'll share things with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Like I did last week, I'll share with you... war movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

In Harm's Way, starring John Wayne, Kirk Douglas and other actors.  Click on this link to check out this American epic Panavision war filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Harm%27s_Way.  It touched my heart.

Von Ryan's Express, starring Frank Sinatra, Trevor Howard and other actors.  To check out this WW2 adventure film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Von_Ryan%27s_Express.  It was a good movie,

Where Eagles Dare, starring Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood and other actors.  Would you like to check out this British Metrocolor World War 2 action film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where_Eagles_Dare.  Would you like to know if I liked this movie?  I'll let you know... yes... I was happy to have seen it!

Pork Chop Hill, starring Gregory Peck, Rip Torn and other actors.  Please click on this link, to check out this American Korean War filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pork_Chop_Hill.  I was glad to have watched it.

*   The Dirty Dozen, starring Lee Marvin, Ernest Borgnine and other actors.  If you want to check out this American war film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dirty_Dozen.  I enjoyed watching it.

I was sad and happy to have watched all the war movies I've shared.

Please realize that I feel it is important to watch war movies.  But, it's also important to think about wars.

They touch my heart.

After all, not just about watching war movies, but also thinking about how my dad and other relatives participated in WW2, it made me happy that God helped them win the war.

Thinking about that, made me think about  Jeremiah 51:20, "Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;".

Amen!  Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;.

Even though nations and kingdoms were hurt and/or destroyed, God helped the winning countries to help rebuild some country's areas that were physically destroyed.

I praise God.

All I can say... is...

...thank You, Lord!

Rejoice!

As I've mentioned before, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), because today is Sunday... it is our day of worship.

I worship... and hopefully, you do... also.

However...because we can also worship through music... I will share some music with you!

Here is a link for a hymn on YouTube that is entitled, Hosanna, Loud Hosannahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FPydZdCL4c.  If you click on that link, you will be able to see/hear and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

Hosanna, Loud Hosanna

Hosanna, loud hosanna
the little children sang;
through pillared court and temple
the lovely anthem rang.
To Jesus, who had blessed them,
close folded to his breast,
the children sang their praises,
the simplest and the best.

From Olivet they followed
mid an exultant crowd,
the victory palm branch waving,
and chanting clear and loud.
The Lord of earth and heaven
rode on in lowly state,
nor scorned that little children
should on his bidding wait.

"Hosanna in the highest!"
That ancient song we sing,
for Christ is our Redeemer,
the Lord of heaven, our King.
O may we ever praise him
with heart and life and voice,
and in his blissful presence
eternally rejoice.

Rejoicing... is VERY important!

I believe... we NEED to rejoice!

Thinking about that, made me think about, Philippians 3:1, "Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.".

Amen!  Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Who ARE brethren?

Bretheren… ARE everyone... who has become a Christian born again believer!

Hopefully, you have become a Christian born again believer... for I have... and I DO rejoice in the Lord!

If you do, like I do... then we will both be happy... rejoicing!

After all... God ... loves us... who belong to Him!

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Trust...

There is something I will do, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Do you know?

I will share with you... movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

Bridge on the River Kwai, starring William Holden, Jack Hawkins and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this epic war filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bridge_on_the_River_Kwai.  It touched my heart, because a friend's father was there during WW2.   :'(

*    Murphy's War, starring Peter O'Toole, Stan Phillips and other actors.  To check out this Eastmancolor Panavision war film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy%27s_War.  It was good to see it.

Shout at the Devil, starring Lee Marvin, Roger Moore and other actors.  Would you like to check out this British war adventure film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shout_at_the_Devil_(film).  Do you wonder if I liked it?  Yes, I did!

*  Fury, starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and other actors.  Please click on this link to check out this American war filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fury_(2014_film). It was interesting, even though it wasn't old.

Castle Keep, starring Burt Lancaster, Patrick O'Neal and other actors.  If you want to check out this American Technicolor war film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Keep.  I was glad I watched it.

I was sad and happy to have watched these war movies.

They touched my heart... just as my thoughts of wars have.

Thinking about that made me think about Matthew 24:6, "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.".

Amen!  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Please realize that I felt it was important to mention about and have people think about wars.

For wars have happened.

But, the end is not here yet, just as we read in today's Bible verse.

So, everyone needs to trust God.

For He is in control to help those who belong to Him.

I belong to Him, because I trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Hopefully, you have.

For if you have already, or... will do that, then He will always help you, and provide for you.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Men & Women?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I will share with you.

After all, today is our day of worship!

Hopefully, you did worship.

But, since we can also worship through music, I will share some with you.

Here is a link for a hymn on YouTube that is entitled, Rise Up, O Men of Godhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=an4aVXtUXNQ.  If you click on that link, you will be able to listen to and/or sing with it!  The lyrics are below.

Rise Up, O Men of God

Rise up O men of God,
Have done with lesser things.
Give heart and mind and soul and strength,
To serve the King of Kings.

Rise up O men of God
The Kingdom tarries long,
Bring in the day of brotherhood,
And end the night of wrong.

Rise up O men of God,
The Church for you doth wait.
Her strength unequal to her task
Rise up and make her great.

Lift high the Cross of Christ,
Tread where His feet have trod,
As brothers of the Son of Man,
Rise up O men of God.

Yes, men of God need to rise up!

There are things they need to do.

Thinking about that, made me think about 1 Timothy 6:11, "But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.".

Amen!  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

M
en... of God... are important... because they are a believer who belongs to Him!

Of course... women... also need to become a believer!

After all, as we read in today's Bible verse... we all... who belong to God... need to have... righteousness... faith... love... patience and meekness.

I belong to Him.

Do you?

If you don't belong to Him, yet... then gain salvation and everlasting life... by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and you WILL be accepted, because you then... became a believer... and will do what He wants you to do.

Yes, then... you WILL be blessed.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Truth!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will share you something... because today... IS our day of worship!

Any idea what I will share?

I will share... Music!

Here is a link for a hymn on YouTube that is entitled, Christ Receiveth Sinful Menhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MafwGtAQG1g.  If you click on that link, you will be able to hear and/or sing with it!  The lyrics are below.

Christ Receiveth Sinful Men

Sinners Jesus will receive
Sound this word of grace to all
Who the heavenly pathway leave
All who linger, all who fall.

Sing it o’er and over again
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain
Christ receiveth sinful men.

Come, and He will give you rest
Trust Him, for His Word is plain
He will take the sinfulest
Christ receiveth sinful men.

Sing it o’er and over again
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain:
Christ receiveth sinful men.

Christ receiveth sinful men
Even me with all my sin
Purged from every spot and stain
Heaven with Him I enter in.

Sing it o’er and over again
Christ receiveth sinful men
Make the message clear and plain:
Christ receiveth sinful men.

Just as we heard... and/or read... men are sinful.

But, of course... so are women.

After all, EVERY person is born with SIN... and... needs to repent.

When we become... a Christian believer... we then realize about that... and we DO repent... for we realize... that we gain... eternal life!

Thinking about that, made me think about Roman's 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.".

Amen!  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hallelujah!

It is truly a blessing that Jesus provided for everyone... because He came to earth... to give His life... as He did on the cross... to pay the price for the sin of the world... for ALL... who would believe upon Him.

After all, when we become a Christian believer... we gain eternal life to be with Him... even though unbelievers... WON'T be with Him... and when their life ends here on earth, they WILL spend eternity in HELL... separated from God... with NO chance of escape.

I have to admit that I am truly thankful... that Jesus did that... and that I belong to Him... for... after my life ends here on earth... I WILL spend eternity with Him.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
