Grace!

There is something I decided to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's information regarding a movie entitled... A Christmas Story.

Even though you may realize that I've watched that movie, or won't know about it for a little while, I would like to tell you more about it.

Plus, if you click on this link, you can watch it:  https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2chfii.

Why would I want to let you know about it?

Well, when my husband was alive, he loved watching that movie.  So, did I.  We watched it together so many times.

When Gordon was alive, we talked about going to see the house that was used in the movie, that is located in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.  But we didn't get to do it.

However, quite a while after my husband... Gordon... died, I drove to Cleveland... by myself.

Just so you know, I actually saw a friend in Cleveland, before I went to see the house that is used as a museum.

If you click on the en.wikipedia.org link, you'll be able to learn about A Christmas Storyhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Christmas_Story.

Here is a link for you to click on to see/read about A Christmas Story Househttps://www.achristmasstoryhouse.com/.

Just so you know, the school used in the movie was actually used in Canada.  Here is the information I originally heard when I visited the museum, but I copied it from when I searched it, on Google:

Victoria School
Warren G. Harding Elementary School was the childhood school of “A Christmas Story” author Jean Shepherd. However, the school used for the filming of the movie was Victoria School in St Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
It was wonderful seeing not just the movie.  But also the house/museum.

And finding out that the school used in the movie was actually in... Canada... it was a blessing learning that both USA and Canada was blessed by supporting that movie.

To me, it was also a blessing being able to travel and be there... even though I was alone.

I felt like God gave me grace.

Thinking about that, made me think of 2 Corinthians 9:8, "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:".

Amen!  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:.

Does God give you grace?

He gives me grace, because I belong to Him.

If you belong to Him by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you'll not only gain salvation and everlasting life.

He will also give you grace.

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
