Enter Canada in Quebec?

There is something I would like to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's something I wasn't able to let you know about sooner.  But, I decided I'd let you know about it, now.

Here is a link for an article by that is entitled, Scheer pledges to close asylum 'loophole' at Quebec border crossing

Did you read the article?  In case you didn't, I decided to share a bit of it, with you (I copied/posted):

ST-BERNARD-DE-LACOLLE, Que. -- Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer says he will close the loophole that allows tens of thousands of asylum-seekers to claim refugee status, but he isn't saying how.
Scheer pledged Wednesday to close the loophole in the Safe Third Country Agreement that prevents asylum-seekers from claiming refugee protection in Canada if they arrive at an official border checkpoint from a country that is considered safe, such as the United States, but permits them to make such a claim if they're already in the country.
It also stated (I copied/posted):

Earlier Wednesday, Trudeau suggested Scheer's announcement would allow him to see the infrastructure that the Liberals government has installed at Roxham Road crossing, where all new arrivals -- regular and irregular -- are held by the RCMP and fully screened.

"There are no shortcuts. There are no skipping steps within our immigration system. Everyone arriving in Canada goes through the same immigration system -- a full, rigorous immigration system that is being applied," Trudeau said.

This report by The Canadian Press was first published Oct. 9, 2019.

Hearing about what Andrew Scheer stated, made me truly happy!

By the way, here is a link for a YouTube video that is entitled, Canadian election: Andrew Scheer announces plans to close Safe Third Country Agreement 'loophole'  If you watched this video, you'll know that Andrew Scheer spoke in both French and English!

To be honest, I believe Justin Trudeau wanted people to enter Canada by entering there in the Province of Quebec.

Why do I believe that made him happy?  Please realize that anyone who entered there, would have to become French… and NOT English, because the law for the province of Quebec was changed many years ago, regarding the legal language.

Please realize that if they didn't want to become French, then they would have to and would be able to leave Quebec... and go to live in another province.

Why do I think some people may have done that?

Because, as I've mentioned in the past, Justin Trudeau has wanted the Province of Quebec to be separated from Canada... even though not everyone in Canada wants that to happen.

Now, I need to also let you know that I am truly sad that Andrew Scheer can't do everything he hoped to do.

Because... Justin Trudeau was re-elected, so he is our Canadian Prime Minister, again. :'(

However, I am truly thankful that God gives me strength, even when things happen that are hurtful and sad.

Thinking of that made me think of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.".

Amen!  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

All I can say right now, is... hallelujah!

Thank You... for loving me and providing for me, Lord!

Until next time...
