Remembrance Day:

As I saw something on a Google page,
I decided to copy/paste what I read,
so you can understand what today is:

Armistice Day is on 11 November and is also known as Remembrance Day. It marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918. A two-minute silence is held at 11am to remember the people who have died in wars.

Armistice Day:

Today, is the day when we
remember
and
honour
those who participated
in our
Canadian Military,
and
remember
and
honour
those who died
by participating in wars
to protect us.

Both my
parents
participated in protecting us, during
WW2.

To me, it was very loving to think about what they did.

Thinking of the love that military people did to help protect people,
here in Canada,
made me think of...

John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.".

Yes, I thought of that love.
Yes, some people
gave their lives
during wars.

However,
everyone who participated in
our Canadian military and lived, also...
risked
their lives.

For this, I am truth thankful.

Thank you!

May God bless...
each and every Canadian military person...
those who
 lived...
those who are alive...
and those, who
died.

Until next time...
