Movies!

Here are some movies I've seen:

Wow!  These films were with comedy. drama and horror!

Amazing!

When I watched those movies, I sometimes smiled.  But, I realized that sometimes people were being hurt.

That made me feel bad a bit...  and also made me think of Colossians 3:2, "But. those who truly belong to Him, do NOT want to hurt others.".

Amen!  But. those who truly belong to Him, do NOT want to hurt others.

I truly do not want to hurt others.

Do you?

If you do, then you probably do not belong to Him.

If you have not gained salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then you will not belong to Him.  And, you'll probably hurt others.

Then, you won't spend eternity with Him.  You will spend eternity in Hell... separated from God... with... NO chance of escape.

Hopefully, some day I'll see you in Heaven!

Wisdom!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing something with you.

I received on an e-mail message that I feel I should share with you.

Why was this sent to me?  And, why would I share this video with you?

It would educate us.

It would make us wise.

Thinking about how we can have wisdom, made me think of Ecclesiastes 7:12, "For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.".

As we just realized, wisdom is defence… and we truly need to know what was being stated to us.

Canadian,

I lived in USA for a few years when I was a child

and I have always felt like I am also...

American.

No matter what, we truly all need to

give thanks to God!

Just as we read, in...

Psalm 50:14,

"Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:".

Study? Study!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I feel I need to mention.

As I let you know yesterday and at some other times, my deceased husband Gordon was a born again Christian.

For many years he knew I read God's Word, the Bible.

But, the first year we were married, Gordon knew that even though I read a large Bible at home, he was aware that I felt I should have gotten a smaller Bible, that would easily fit in my purse.

So, that Christmas, I received a lovely gift from him.

Yes, it was a a Bible that I truly felt I needed.

And, on the page where the Bible begins, he wrote a comment/message:

December 25.

To Lynn:

II Timothy 2:15

Love Always,

Your Husband.

Gordon

Sigh...

Thinking about that, made me share with you... 2 Timothy 2:15, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.".

Gordon knew that I was happy receiving that new Bible.  Especially, since he knew that I read God's Word, in the larger Bible I had, but was happy to have received that lovely gift from him. 

Why?

He knew that I would be abe to easily carry it with me.

Yes, I have taken it with me, to worship with church family.

However, I have always taken it with me even when I've traveled.  Not just with him, when he was alive.  But, I've taken it with me, even when I've traveled alone, after his life ended.

Do you read God's Word... the Bible?

Hopefully, you do.

If you haven't yet read the Bible, then I would suggest you begin reading the New Testament portion of the Bible.

Begin reading the book of John... and then read to the end of the Bible. 

When you've completely read it all, then you can begin reading the Bible from the book of Genesis, in the Old Testament portion of the Bible... and read it to the end if the Bible, again... over and over again.  

If you do, I believe God will bless you.

Forever...

Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday... and the day before.  If you didn't, then please read the entries, now.

Why?

As I mentioned yesterday, George... a fellow blog writer who was a friend of mine, e-mailed me and suggested that Life with Lynnie (LwL) was the name he thought I should use.  Just as you know I did.

Why did George tell me that?

Because, I let him know that my deceased husband, Gordon... had sometimes called me... Lynnie.

Yes, Gordon sometimes called me Lynnie… off and on for many years.

When Gordon was alive, he hadn't had a perfect life.  But, he was a born-again Christian.

Just as I am.

Jesus always helped us.

Thinking of that, made me think of Psalm 23, 1-6, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

² He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

³ He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

⁴ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

⁵ Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

⁶ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.".

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. We both had gained salvation and everlasting life... by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For this I'm thankful.  and always will be.

Did you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday?  I hope you did read it.

Well, I feel that way partially... because it was LwL's 10th birthday.

But, there is something I feel I need to let you know about.

I'm not sure if I ever mentioned in the past, but I'll let you know about it... now.

I'll let you know that before I began writing LwL, I was reading blog entries written by various people.

One of the writers, was a man named George.

Not only did I like reading his blog entries for many years, we  also e-mailed each other, at times.  It was a blessing having George as a friend, even though he was much older than me and lived far away, in USA.

A short time before I began writing Life with Lynnie's blog entries 10 years ago, George knew that I intended to write blog entries.

He asked me what I would name the blog.  I let him know that I had chosen three different names I was thinking of, but I hadn't decided which one to use.

After George read the multiple names I let him know about, he didn't wait.  He e-mailed me right away and suggested that he thought that Life with Lynnie (LwL) was the name I should use.

I thanked him... and named the blog,,, Life with Lynnie (LwL)!

Even though George used various names for his blog, because he changed the name a few times, I decided I would give you a link for George's blog, that was entitled The Adventures if Tioga and George, but was eventually known as...Tioga and George - 10 years:  https://blog.vagabonders-supreme.net/2019/02/dear-readers.html.

If you clicked on that link, I'm sure you would realize that someone else wrote and posted that blog entry.

Why?

Because George had died.

Sigh...

Death isn't easy.

But, God is good.

Even to Jewish people... like George was.

And Jesus let us know that any Jewish people who believe on Him would be His disciples and be made free.

Just as we read inJohn 8:31-32, "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

³² And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free".

Amen!  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Knowing about that, and knowing that God's Word, the Bible, lets us know that some Jewish people may be made free.  Some, who believe on Him, will be made free... and end up in Heaven.

Even though George knew I was a born-again Christian... who sometimes mentioned Jesus to him, I never knew if George believed upon Jesus, because he never mentioned Jesus to me.

So, is George in Heaven?

I have no idea.

But, because I gained salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon my Lord, Jesus Christ, I will some day be in heaven after my life on earth ends.

Then, I will know if George is in Heaven... or not.

Hopefully, I'll see George, there.

If I do, it will be a blessing.

And then, I'll thank You, Lord.

"For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.".

Amen!

is

a

labourer...

a doer of the work...

and shall be

blessed

for doing... 

all...

for...

 God.

For this,

I

am truly thankful.

And, always will be.
