Halloween...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be addressing an issue... that I've mentioned in the past.

It's something that not everyone agrees with.

What is it?

Halloween!

When my children were young, I allowed Halloween to be celebrated.  :'(  Now, I don't. :)

Years ago, even though I was worshiping, I never learned that no one should celebrate Halloween.

Does this mean that every church group teaches everything that people need to know?  Absolutely, not!

However, when I began worshiping with a church group that not only preached, but taught us what we needed to know, I found out that Halloween was actually Satanic.

In case you haven't heard about it, you may want to click on this link, to watch/listen to this YouTube video entitled, The TRUTH About HALLOWEEN Satan Doesn't Want You To Know!:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NjLsuSJOMw&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR2UXZJfRwZMkT3kh_vYKmuv-ZX-6wlMMgCKr-H5p4p7SZLsr6KG1DmvPNQ.

As adults we should never celebrate Halloween.  Nor should we ever allow children to celebrate Halloween.

Why?  Because, we would then do what God wants us to do.

But, also... realize that if you do celebrate Halloween, you will be hurting others in this world and leading people astray.  Not just adults, but also children.

Thinking of that, made me think of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.".

Amen!  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

If you train up children in the way they should go, they will realize that God is the most important person in their life.  And, they will then never turn away from Him.

For this, I will pray... for my family, for my friends, for all people I know... and also for you and your family, even though I may not yet know you.

If you do what God requested, then He will also bless you.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

H.B. D! H.B. W! & Injured Workers...

Before I discuss here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I want to wish my grandson, D... Happy Birthday! Plus, I'm wishing his commonlaw wife... W, Happy Birthday!  Yes, even though they were born one year apart, today is both their birthdays!   I'm looking forward to seeing you and family, to celebrate your special day!  Happy Birthday!

Now, there is something I feel you need to know about.

Here is a link to a cbc.ca article entitled, WSIB reverses previous denial of claims from K-W rubber workershttps://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/kitchener-waterloo/wsib-rubber-industry-claims-approved-1.5312387?utm_source=WHSCtraining&utm_medium=(none)&fbclid=IwAR0Y-5jgHROsD0vRMn1bCzBkwlyKlWQESgM1OluQNXN6FRz4zxxcm8namwk.

If you didn't click on the link to read the article, here is what the article stated (I copied/pasted):

A Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) review has allowed compensation claims of 31 rubber workers from Kitchener-Waterloo that were previously denied.
A dedicated review team, created by the WSIB last year, looked at 300 claims received between 2002 and 2017.
The reviewers upheld the denial of 253 of those claims. "An additional 24 claims are currently in an appeals process," a statement from the board said Monday.

In the 15 year window, workers from several rubber companies made claims regarding a litany of illnesses, including cancers.
The review considered updated scientific research.
In statement, the WSIB highlighted a review of occupational cancers announced by the provincial government at the start of this year. Noting that recommendations resulting from the review "would impact decisions made on cancer-related claims."
Since the review began, 174 additional claims have been filed and are proceeding through the WSIB processes.
Wow!

To me, it was terrible that Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), didn't accept all those claims.

Why?

If those people were injured/hurt at work, then their applications should have been accepted.

After all, WSIB should have supported those workers.

Thinking of that made me think of Acts 20:35, "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.".

Amen!  I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Please join me in prayer for injured workers.

Please join me in prayer that WSIB will support and help every injured worker.

Thank you for praying.

May God bless you!

Until next time...

Windsor & Other Places!

Did you read yesterday's entry, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)?  If you didn't, then please read it now.

Why?

If you read yesterday's LwL entry, you'll know what is happening to people here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Of course, once you've read that entry, I believe you'll be aware that what is happening here, is happening to many other people... in many other places.

Just as I believe.

Why do I think that?

Whenever I have traveled, I've seen people in many other places... who are also homeless... and live on streets and in other areas, in other ways.

Yes, people being homeless are truly being hurt.

Sigh...

Hopefully, anyone who is homeless, will gain salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Just as I mentioned, yesterday.

Why?

Because when we belong to Him, He supplies our needs.

Thinking about that made me think of Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.".

Amen!  God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God truly loves... everyone who truly belongs to Him.

Because I belong to Him, I am truly thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Sad... Please Pray...

There is something I feel I want to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not regarding me.

However, it is regarding some people who live in the city I live in... Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Here is a link to the artradio.ca article I read that is entitled, WINDSOR'S HOMELESS TAKE TO LIVING IN VEHICLEShttps://www.iheartradio.ca/am800/news/windsor-s-homeless-take-to-living-in-vehicles-1.10054062?fbclid=IwAR0N3XbX9xXQDeyVmB7K6D2P10QWiUNyslrDT_OtnBrqCj-UxIRtrzheolM.

Did you click on that link, and read that article?  Well, if you weren't able to, then please read what the article stated, that I'm sharing with you (I copied.pasted):

Windsor's homeless are finding different ways of getting off the streets — by living in their cars.

Given the skyrocketing rental rates and lack of affordable housing, some people are living in their cars and parking in different areas of the city.

There is a wait list of more than 5,000 people for affordable housing in Windsor and a count in June 2018 on the number of people living on the streets on any given day, found 197 people were homeless.

"I've been living in my vehicle for the last three years to be honest with ya and I wish there was more affordable housing," said this man who called AM800's the Morning Drive.

Although he has a job, he says it isn't enough to find a place.

"When the government raised the minimum wage to $14/hour, that was all fine and dandy but the price of everything else went up and it gets to a point you can't afford it," he says.

He says he usually goes to the Walmart parking lot because 'they don't bug anybody' and uses the showers at the YMCA.

Any money he earns goes to his car, gas and a cell phone.

"I have a job to get me by but that doesn't still help," he says. "I would love to get a place, I don't have enough to get a place."

In the winter, he says he uses warm blankets to keep me warm along with three sleeping bags.

Although he says he has reached out for help,  he can't seem to find the 'right help.'

Wow!

Isn't this terrible?

I believe it is.

To me, it's truly sad.

But, I believe that many people will wonder what they shall do.

Thinking of that made me think of Luke 3:10, "And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?".

Amen!  And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?

What shall we do?

If you read God's Word, the Bible, then you'll have an idea.

What do I think?

I believe that we all need to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  If we do, then we gain salvation, everlasting life, and we'll belong to Him!

When we belong to Him and love Him, then He will love us and provide for us... always.

Hopefully, you'll join me in prayer... for everyone who needs help.

Thank you for praying!

If you do, I believe God will bless you.

Thank you, Lord!

Until next time...

H.B. A! & God Is Love!

Before I discuss here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I want to wish my grandson, A... Happy Birthday!  I'm looking forward to seeing you and celebrating your special day!  Happy Birthday!

Like other times on LwL, I'll let you know that I love to worship.

Also, with music!

So, here is a song on YouTube by Hillsong entitled, The Power of Your Lovehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9_0jiO5ZRM.  If you click on that link, you'll be able to listen and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

The Power of Your Love

Lord I come to You
Let my heart be changed, renewed
Flowing from the grace
That I've found in You
Lord I've come to know
The weaknesses I see in me
Will be stripped away
By the power of Your love

Hold me close
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near
Draw me to Your side
And as I wait
I'll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of Your love

Lord unveil my eyes
Let me see You face to face
The knowledge of Your love
As You live in me
Lord renew my mind
As Your will unfolds in my life
In living every day
By the power of Your love

Hold me close
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near
Draw me to Your side
And as I wait
I'll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of Your love

Hold me close
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near
Draw me to Your side
And as I wait
I'll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on

In the power of Your love

And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of Your love
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of Your love

Oh, to me it's wonderful thinking about love.

I love.

Why?

Because I know Him... and I belong to Him!

Thinking about that made me think of 1 John 4:8, "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.".

Amen!  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

I praise God... and I'm thankful to Him!

For... God IS love!

Hallelujah!

Until next time...

Hopefully!

Today, I'll share something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Do you have an idea what I'll share with you?

I'll share with you... movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

The Tingler, starring Vincent Price, Judith Evelyn and other actors.  To check out this American horror film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tingler.  To me it was scary.

* Scream and Scream Again, starring Vincent Price, Alfred Marks and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this British-American science fiction conspiracy thriller filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scream_and_Scream_Again.  Yes, I felt like screaming.

House on Haunted Hill, starring Vincent Price, Carol Ohmart and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American supernatural horror film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_on_Haunted_Hill.  Did I like it?  Not much.

Return of the Fly, starring Vincent Price, Brett Halsey and other actors.  Please click on this link to check out this horror filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Return_of_the_Fly.  It made me scared.

The Last Man on Earth, starring Vincent Price, Franka Bettoia and other actors. If you would like to check out this black-and-white post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Man_on_Earth_(1964_film).  I watched it, but didn't like it.

Wow!

To me, it was amazing that many films were shown with Vincent Price.

Even though I don't care for horror films, I found that Vincent Price was a good actor.

So, I checked him out.

Click on this link, to read about Vincent Price:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincent_Price.

If you read about Vincent Price, you will have realized that he was NOT Christian.  For, if he had been Christian, he wouldn't have done some of what was stated.

Unfortunately, he had NOT focused on Jesus Christ.

Thinking about that made me think of 2 John 1:9, "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.".

Amen!  Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

To me it is sad that not everyone gains salvation and everlasting life, because they don't trust in in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

If people have gained salvation and everlasting life, then when their life ends here on earth, they will spend eternity with Him... in Heaven.

If people DON'T gain salvation and everlasting life, then when their life ends here on earth, they will spend eternity in Hell... separated from God... with NO chance of escape.

Hopefully, some time in the future, I'll see you in Heaven!

Truth...4 Christian Children killed by Islamic ISIS...

There is something I believe you need to see and understand about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

What is it?

It's something that you need to see and understand, because in the past, I've mentioned it to you. Yet some people don't want to accept it... even though what I had mentioned... was truth.

Here is a jewtube.tv video entitled, ISIS Beheads 4 Christian Children in Iraq for Not Converting to Islamhttps://jewtube.tv/isis/horrific-beheading-of-4-chritstian-children-in-iraq-for-standing-up-for-their-beliefs/?fbclid=IwAR3h1hpiEbQq7A5wft5tqFaju5KWh5873ztTB2BdicMisFrZkVcDZ9rgy_

If you would prefer to watch the video on YouTube, then click on this link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=4&v=GvJbotO8UxQ.

Hopefully, you watched the video.

Hopefully, you recall what I've stated in the past, regarding the Islamic god... who is NOT our God.

As I've explained in the past, to help educate people, Muslims are taught by their god and their holy information that their god... wants them to convert everyone in the world, to become Islamic.

And when anyone refuses to convert, Muslims have been told to cut off their heads.

Yes, this is true!

Please understand the truth.

After all, that is why the 4 Christian children had their heads cut off.  Murdered.

That wasn't just evil.

What the Islamic god wants Muslims to do, is very different than what our God wants us to do.

Our God wants us to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth.

Just as we read in our Bible.

Thinking of that made me think of Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.".

Amen!  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Our God also told us that we should not kill anyone,

Just as we read, in Exodus 20:13, " Thou shalt not kill.".

Amen!   Thou shalt not kill.

So, please realize that Muslims and any other unbelievers need to gain salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Please join me in prayer.

Pray that Muslims and unbelievers will begin to read the New Testament portion of the Bible, starting in the book of John... and read to the end of the Bible, before beginning again to read the entire Bible.

Thank you, for praying.

May God bless you.

Until next time...

Halloween Warning...

There is something I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Here is a link by endoftheamericandream.com that is entitled, Halloween Warning: Here Are 15 Reasons Why You Should Not Celebrate "The Devil's Holiday"http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/halloween-warning-here-are-15-reasons-why-you-should-not-celebrate-the-devils-holiday?fbclid=IwAR2t7JgpZ5V1BQtxPhFyXrhYPPh4Q2K5KcH0nShFaqlzb0ymjBc6r4f8YbI.

Hopefully you read the article.  Even though you haven't yet, please read it.  Icannot share everything, but will share with you a comment (I copied/pasted):

Halloween has become one of the most important holidays in the United States, and thanks to relentless marketing it is now celebrated in virtually every nation on the entire planet.  According to the National Retail Federation, Americans will spend a whopping 8.8 billion dollars on Halloween this year, and most of that money will be spent on costumes, candy and decorations.  The vast majority of the U.S. population will participate in some form of Halloween festivities, and most of them probably don’t want to hear anything “negative” about a holiday that they really look forward to enjoying.  But should we actually be celebrating this holiday?  After reading what I have to share with you below, you may be forced to reconsider what you believe about Halloween.

It also stated (I copied/pasted:

Before I get to my list, there is one key point that I would like to make.  A lot of people out there seem to believe that engaging in Halloween customs is okay as long as they change the name of the holiday to something else.  For example, many organizations will hold a “fall festival”, a “harvest festival” or a “trunk or treat” event this time of the year.  But the word “Halloween” is not the problem.  In fact, according to Wikipedia the word “Halloween” is just a shorthand way of saying “All Hallows’ Eve”…
The word Halloween or Hallowe’en dates to about 1745[32] and is of Christian origin.[33] The word “Hallowe’en” means “Saints’ evening”.[34] It comes from a Scottish term for All Hallows’ Eve (the evening before All Hallows’ Day).[35] In Scots, the word “eve” is even, and this is contracted to e’en or een. Over time, (All) Hallow(s) E(v)en evolved into Hallowe’en. Although the phrase “All Hallows'” is found in Old English “All Hallows’ Eve” is itself not seen until 1556.[35][36]
Changing the name of your celebration is not going to change anything.  Ultimately, it is the traditions that are rooted in ancient pagan religious rituals that you should really be concerned about.Look, if I attended a Satanic black mass and called it “Fun Fest 2019”, would that make it okay?
Of course not.
The ancient pagan festival that eventually became known as “Halloween” is still practiced today by occultists all over the world.  They consider it to be a time when the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest, and therefore it is an optimal time for communicating with the spirit world.  And the original purpose for many of the ancient traditions associated with this holiday (such as dressing up in costumes) was to facilitate that sort of communication.
If communicating with evil spirits is something that you want, then go ahead and celebrate Halloween.
But as for me and my house, we don’t be doing it.
After discussing 15 reasons you truly need to read, you would have read this comment that I am sharing with you (I copied/pasted):

There is so much more that could be written, but hopefully you get the point.
This “day of the dead” is a holiday that fully embraces evil, and that is not something that you should want to participate in.
As I explained in my most recent book, life is all about choices, and the choices that we make consistently define who we are.
You can say that you want to be good all you want, but if your actions consistently embrace evil that is what you will become.
And let there be no doubt – Halloween is a holiday that is absolutely saturated with evil, and nothing good can come from celebrating it.
Wow!

To me, it's amazing reading that, even though it refers to USA.

Here in Canada, and possibly in many other countries, Halloween is also celebrated.

Realizing that Halloween is EVIL, we should NOT celebrate it.

After all, we should only celebrate regarding God... and NOT  Satan... the devil.

Thinking of that, made me think of 1 Corinthians 10:21, "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.".

Amen!  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

If you truly love our God, then please... teach family and friends about why they shouldn't celebrate Halloween.

If you do that, I believe God will bless you.

Thank you!

Thank You, Lord!

Dad...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)
I'm going to let you know
that today,
is the anniversary
of
my dad's death.

Even though I can't see him,
I truly
miss my dad.

I think of him, so very much.

Plus, I do anything I can
to honour my dad.

Thinking of that, made me think of
Exodus 20:12,
"Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.".

Amen!  Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Hopefully, you also
honour
your dad.

If you do,
God will bless you.

Until next time...
