My Everything...

As I'm sure you know, today is a special day, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's our day of... worship!

Yes, I worship.  Hopefully, you do, also.

Of course, even though I worship with church family, I also enjoy worshiping with music. So, I'll share some music with you.

Here is a link for a song by Engelbert Humperdinck that is entitled, There Goes My Everythinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtA_POLoXg4.  If you click on the link, you'll be able to listen to and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

There Goes My Everything

There goes my only possession
There goes my everything

I hear footsteps slowly walking,
As they gently walk across a lonely floor,
And a voice is softly saying,
Darling, this will be good-bye forever more.
There goes my reason for living,
There goes the one of my dreams,
There goes my only possession,
There goes my everything.
As my memory turns back the pages,
I can see the happy years we had before,
Now the love that kept this old heart beating,
Has been shattered by the closing of the door.

There goes my reason for living,
There goes the one of my dreams,
There goes my only possession,
There goes my everything.

There goes my only possession,
There goes my everything.

Amen.  Unfortunately, I've had a bad situation with some family.  And, I felt like... there goes my everything.

Why this music actually played in my heart and mind, I have no idea.  Especially, since it wasn't Christian music.  But, I wondered if God was letting me know that there was going my everything.

At first, I felt horrible with this family issue.  It was a terrible heartbreak for me.

But, just as I always do, I read some of the Bible.  And, thought about how God loves me, and helps me.  So, I just kept looking to Him.

Thinking of that, made me think ofNumbers 24:16, "He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:".

Amen!  He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

Yes, my eyes are open.... to Him.  And, my heart looks to Him, always.

Was this family issue the first that had ever happened?  No. I've experienced many family trials.

But, He has always been with me and provided for me, to help me go through the horrible issues.

For this, I was thankful.  And, felt I always would be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
