Anniversary of Bus Collision...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), 

I will let you know 

why

today

is 

the anniversary 

of

a special day.

On September 30th...
many years ago...

at 3:45 pm...

a 

tractor-trailer truck driver

hit 

the school bus I was driving.

I praise God, 

that I had dropped off 53 children

 a few minutes 

before being hit,

and...

that both my daughter and I 

survived the collision.

It wasn't easy dealing with the situation,

because of being hurt/injured physically,

but 

I realize it could have been worse.

So I thank God...

for I truly loved Him, even at that time.

Thinking about that, made me think of

Romans 8:28, 

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.".

I could tell you much more,

but not at this time.

Again, 

I thank God...

for 

answering my prayer when I asked Him

to

please save my 4 1/2 year old daughter, and don't let her die,
just a few seconds before being hit by...
 that drunk/drugged driver...

who admitted to me and a friend of mine after court, 

that he had taken pills to stay awake

and had drank alcohol..

just before 

hitting 

the school bus

I was driving.

For this, I'll always be thankful to God,
even though it was a sinful 

and

 horrible thing that happened 

that changed my life..

Thank You, Lord!
