The Solid Rock!

Do you have any idea about what I will mention today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)?

You might know.  But, if you don't then I will remind you that today is our day of worship!

Even when we worship with brothers and sisters in the Lord, we can also worship... through music!

Here is a link for you to click on for some music by Grace Community Church entitled, The Solid Rockhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWxOS_ufS5Y.  If you click on the link, you can listen to and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

The Solid Rock

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus' Name
On Christ the solid Rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
When darkness seems to hide His face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil
On Christ the solid Rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
His oath, His covenant, His blood
Support me in the whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way
He then is all my Hope and Stay
On Christ the solid Rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
When He shall come with trumpet sound
Oh may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
Faultless to stand before the throne
On Christ the solid Rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

On Christ the solid Rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

Amen!  Christ is... solid Rock!

And, all other ground is... sinking sand.

After all, Jesus came to earth to pray the price for the sin of the world, for all who would believe upon Him.

How thankful I am to Him!

After all, I know that He did what God the Father wanted Him to do.  And, He did it for us!

Thinking about that, I thought about Romans 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.".

Amen!  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Yes, we need to NOT rely on other ground.

We need to rely upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  For He is who we truly need, so that we can gain salvation and everlasting life by trusting in/believing upon Him.

I have.

Have you?

If not yet, then please... do so today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
