Please sign the petiton...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will let you know about something.

The issue was told to me on an e-mail message I received.
So, I decided to share the e-mail message with you.  Here it is.. (I copied and pasted it):

Lynn,
Christian Pastor John Cao is a dad and husband, a U.S. permanent legal resident from North Carolina. But he's spent more than two years imprisoned in China.

Today, we stand before the world to end this injustice and put international pressure on China for his release.

For decades, Pastor Cao peacefully and openly served the poor in China and Burma (Myanmar), sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

But over two years ago, he was targeted, arrested, and sentenced to seven years in prison. He's been denied needed healthcare, proper nutrition, and direct contact with his heartbroken family.

Today we are delivering an oral intervention at the U.N. Human Rights Council on behalf of Pastor Cao, urging international action to help set him free.

Imagine if your father spent his life serving the poor and sharing his faith. Now imagine him being imprisoned because of it.

Pastor Cao should not spend another day behind bars. He must be released and returned to his wife and children in the United States.

As we go to the U.N. for Pastor Cao, come with us. Sign our petition to demand his freedom.

Please realize that ACLJ works hard for Christians.

Of course, if you live in USA, please sign the petition.

Thinking about it, made me think of 1 john 5;14-15, ''
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."
.
If you do sign the petition, I believe God will bless you!

Thank You. Lord!
