Today, I decided to let you know about something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)
It's something I began mentioning about quite a while ago. My surgeries.
As I mentioned in the past, I had a surgery, where a nurse hurt me, and I got infected. Then, I burst open, and had to heal from the inside out, because I couldn't be sewed up, again.
As I also mentioned in another LwL entry, a few years later, I ended up having to have surgery, again. It happened... not just because of me having a hernia, but also because of damage that had been done to me by that nurse, and not healing properly after I healed from the inside out.
Just to remind you, I had a good surgery by that surgeon who not only dealt with my hernia, but he also filled me with mesh inside me everywhere, because the problem was that my inner lining had been destroyed. Just as I mentioned, previously.
Did I do well, after? Yes!
At least for a while.
Several years later, I felt like my hernia was bothering me. But, it wasn't severe.
Why? I had the flu, and was vomiting. The pain around the hernia was so severe, that I went to the hospital, again.
Even so, I was told at the hospital that they were glad I had arrived there, for help.
Why? Because my hernia was incarcerated. And, they mentioned that if I hadn't arrived there when I did, then I could have died within a few hours.
Unfortunately, that good surgeon was no longer in Windsor. So, a different surgeon did my emergency surgery.
At first, I was told it went well. And, I thought I'd be healed.
I didn't heal.
In fact, I had to have several surgeries afterwards.
Even though I felt horrible, I kept trusting God.
Yes, I asked Him to please help me. And, He did... each and every day.
Thinking of that, made me think of Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:".
Yes, asking of Him, is so very important.
Not just to me, but to everyone.
Especially, if you belong to Him.
I belong to Him.
If you don't know how to belong to Him, I'll let you know that all you will need to do, is to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. Then, you will gain salvation, everlasting life... and will belong to Him!
So, once you have gained salvation... ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Until next time...
