Fear? Love!

Today, I'll be discussing something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

What is it?

Well, I'll let you know that if my deceased husband, Gordon... was alive, today would be his birthday.

To me, it can be a happy day, but also... a sad day.  Yes, it touches my heart.

I miss him.  And since he's no longer alive, I can't even wish him... Happy Birthday!

Sometimes, people think that we become fearful when we miss our loved ones.

However, that is not how I feel.

After all, I still feel love for him.  Just as I do for my parents, brother and friends who have also passed away.  And, I do not fear missing them.

Thinking of that, made me think of 1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.".

Amen!  There is no fear in love.

Hopefully, you feel the same as I do.  For if you do, I believe that you, as a Christian brother or sister accept the fact that people we love, do not remain alive... here on earth.

Life here on earth... ends.  But, when we are born again Christians, we live forever... with God!

For this, I'm thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Love...

Did you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday?  If you didn't, I would suggest you read it, now.

Why?

What I wrote about, related to love.

As I mentioned, some people feel loved by family, friends and people they know.  But, some people... don't feel loved

Love is so very important!

After all, God IS love.  And, His love... is good!

He loves each and every one of us who belong to Him.

I belong to Him

Do you?

If you would like to belong to Him, then... trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  By doing that you will gain salvation and everlasting life.

Plus... you'll be loved by Him.

Of course, when we are loved by Him, we also need to love other people.  For, God wants us to love.

Just as we read, in John 15:12, "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.".

Amen!  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

He has loved us so very much!

His love helps us every day!

So, please... love others as He requested, and commands.  Then, you'll be truly blessed.

Thank You, Lord!

Yes... Or, No...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I would like to ask you about.

What is it?

Love.

Are you loved?

Not just by someone to be married to.  But, are you loved by family and/or people you've gotten to know?

Some people will say... yes.  Others will say... no.

After all, not everyone you know and love or care for, cares about you, or loves you.

Even so, because we belong to God, we need to love each other.

Why?

Because God loves us.

Thinking of that, made me think of 1 John 4:11, "Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.".

Amen!  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Some people don't think God loves us.  But, He does.

So, we need to love others.

When we know we are loved by Him, we realize that He helps us every day.

For that, I'm truly thankful, for His love for me has been truly important.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Tomorrow? Today...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is when I usually mention something.

It's our day of worship!

I worship.  Do you?  Hopefully, so.

This day is also a day when I share music.  After all, I also like to worship through music.

Today's music is by Diana Ross that is entitled, Touch Me In The Morning:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckWYk4_31GU.  If you click on the link, you can listen and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

Touch Me In The Morning

Touch me in the morning
Then just walk away
We don't have tomorrow
But we had yesterday

Wasn't it me who said that Nothing good's gonna last forever?
And wasn't it me who said, Let's just be glad for the time together?
It must've been hard to tell me
That you've given all you had to give
I can understand you're feeling that way
Everybody's got their life to live

Well, I can say goodbye in the cold morning light
But I can't watch love die in the warmth of the night
If I've got to be strong
Don't you know I need to have tonight when you're gone?
Till you go I need to lie here and think about
The last time that you'll touch me in the morning
Then just close the door
Leave me as you found me, empty like before

Wasn't it yesterday We used to laugh at the wind behind us?
Didn't we run away and hope that time wouldn't try to find us (Didn't we run)
Didn't we take each other to a place where no one's ever been?
Yeah, I really need you near me tonight
'Cause you'll never take me there again

Let me watch you go with the sun in my eyes
We've seen how love can grow
Now we'll see how it dies
If I've got to be strong
Don't you know I need to have tonight when you're gone?
Till you go I need to hold you until the time
Your hands reach out and touch me
In the morning (Mornings where blue and gold and we could feel one another living)
Then just walk away (We walked with a dream to hold and we could take what the world was giving)
We don't have tomorrow (There's no tomorrow here, there's only love and the time to chase it)
But we had yesterday
(But yesterday's gone my love, there's only now and it's time to face it) touch me in the morning

Yes, we had yesterday.  Gordon and I, when he was alive.

Why did I decide to share this music with you?  After all, it's not Christian.

For some reason, it was on my heart and mind, day after day, after day, after day... for quite a while.  Even though it was a while ago.  It was during a time when I truly was missing Gordon, my husband who died close to 10 years ago.

Why this happened so much, I didn't know.  At first, I thought that maybe my deceased husband, Gordon was touching me with that music.

But, eventually I realized that God was helping me.

He was helping me to deal with the grief I felt.  And, feeling brokenhearted.

After all, God has told us that we do NOT have to think about tomorrow.

That reminded me of Matthew 6:3134, "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.".

Amen!  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.

Just as I've mentioned many times in the past, life isn't easy.  But, God is good.

He truly loves us.  And, doesn't want us to think of tomorrow.

We need to do what we can... today.  And, He will help us... who belong to Him.

I belong to Him.  How?  By trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Do you?  If you have done what I did, then you will have gained salvation, everlasting life, and love... from God.

For Him addressing that issue with me that I discussed today, I'm truly thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Peace...

Do you have any idea what I'll do today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)?

If you've read LwL in the past, you'll be aware that I will let you know about... movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

Eye for an Eye, starring Sally Field, Kiefer Sutherland and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this psychological thriller filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_for_an_Eye_(1996_film).  Even though this movie was stressful to me, I watched it.

Norma Rae, starring Sally Field, Beau Bridges and other actors.  To check out this American drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norma_Rae.  I truly enjoyed this movie!

Murphy's Romance, starring Sally Field, James Garner and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American romantic comedy film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy%27s_Romance.  I must admit that I was happy to have seen this movie... more than once.

Absence of Malice, starring Sally Field, Paul Newman and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this American drama film, please click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absence_of_Malice.  I watched this movie, even though it was stressful.

Not Without My Daughter, starring Sally Field, Alfred Molina and other actors.  Please click on this link, to check out this American drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Not_Without_My_Daughter_(film).  Even though this movie was stressful, I enjoyed it!

As I'm sure you realize, I watched all those movies, even though there was stress in most of them.  I enjoyed watching them.

Stress isn't easy.

But, God is good.

He has told us what we need to do.

Thinking of that, made me think of John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.".

Amen!  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Yes, we all have tribulation.  We all have troubles in our lives.

Just as Jesus said, He has overcome the world.  And, we do, also... when we belong to Him.

I belong to Him.

Do you?

If so, then He will help you, just as He helps me.

Thank You, Lord!

Go!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I feel you need to know about.

It's something that affects Muslims.  It's regarding information about Sharia Law.

Since I found a picture that was made elsewhere, I thought I'd share it with you.

Hopefully, you read the list of information regarding what Sharia Law claims is a crime, and what the penalty is.

To me, it wasn't shocking about what was stated.  It may be for you.

After all, everything listed affects Muslims.

To me, it's not shocking.  It's sad.  And, terrifying.

Even though people who are murders in my country, spend time in prison, or could have their life ended, things are very different regarding Islam.

Why do I think that?

Well, check it out.  If you do, you'll see that if Muslims reject the Qur'an, leave Islam, or does anything that fellow Muslims think that a person does blasphemy... then the person will be murdered.

Oooeee!  Please join me in prayer that Sharia Law won't be approved in my country and/or your country!

In the past, I've mentioned that Muslims are doing what their god wants them to do.

Their god is NOT our God.  But, their god wants Muslims to CONVERT every person in the world to become Muslim.  And, if people refuse to become Islamic, then their god has told them they have the right to cut off the heads of those people who refuse to become Muslim.  That means that Muslims have the right to murder people who refuse to become Islamic.

Our God wants us Christians to preach the gospel to all the creatures of the earth.

Just as we read, in Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.".

Amen! And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

If you read God's Word, the Bible, you'll realize that our God is much better than the false god that teaches Muslims to do what is truly sinful.

Only those who become God's family will spend eternity with Him.

How do people become God's family?  All they have to do, is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, for He is the Son of God, who came to earth, to pay the price of the sin for the world, for all who believe upon Him.

By doing what our God wants us to do, we'll be totally blessed.  Not just while we live here on earth, but forever, for even though our life ends, we live forever... with Him.

Thank You, Lord!

Faith!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I feel I need to let you know about.

What is it?  It's not about your country.  It's about mine.  Canada.

Here is a link for an article by washingtonexaminer.com that is entitled, Canada wants 1M more immigrants by 2022https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/canada-wants-1m-more-immigrants-by-2022?fbclid=IwAR2UTDeUPT6_VnmdfR66q8hockfqPFv7zy-1FSGEq-g-GgyHRhiWUjzmhnU.

Did you read the article?  I decided to share it with you (I copied/pasted):

Canada wants more than 1 million immigrants to enter the country by the end of 2021.
In an annual report to Parliament, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Ahmed Hussen wrote that Canada’s “future success depends on continuing to ensure they [immigrants] are welcomed and well-integrated."
The report showed that Canada’s goal is to bring in 330,800 immigrants in 2019, 341,000 in 2020, and 350,000 in 2021, for a total of 1.02 million immigrants.
"Thanks in great part to the newcomers we have welcomed throughout our history, Canada has developed into the strong and vibrant country we all enjoy," Hussen said in the report.
Canada has a population of 37 million and about 1 in 5 current Canadians are immigrants, ABC News noted. If the nation were to meet its targets for increased immigration numbers, it would need to welcome about 1 percent of its population each year.
Hussen is an immigrant who fled to Canada from war-torn Somalia when he was 16.
"Canada is a world leader in managed migration with an immigration program based on non-discriminatory principles, where foreign nationals are assessed without regard to race, nationality, ethnic origin, color, religion or gender," Hussen wrote.
While Canada is seeking to grow the amount of immigrants in the country, Washington is embroiled in a battle over increasing border security to decrease the amount of illegal immigrants crossing the U.S. southern border.
If you read the article, you will realize that it's about something that our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau wants... even though the article states that Canada wants it.
Believe me when I say that I do NOT want that to happen.  I'm Canadian.
Am I alone in my thinking?  NO.  Not all Canadians want that to happen.
Even so, I am trusting God to help us Canadians NOT have Justin Trudeau re-elected, this year.
I'm sure you realize that I won't vote for Justin Trudeau.  Of course, I pray that if you are Canadian, that you won't vote for Justin Trudeau, either!
I believe and have faith that if someone else is elected as our Canadian Prime Minister, that we will NOT have 1M (million) immigrants allowed here in Canada in the next three (3) years.
Thinking about how I have faith, I thought about Mark 11:22, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.".

Amen!  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

We all need to have faith in God.

I do.

Do you?

If you don't, please... read God's Word, the Bible.

If you do, you'll understand what God wants of you, and what He will do for you.

Plus, you'll be blessed.

Thank You, Lord!

Discrimination...

Hopefully, you read yesterday's entry, on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  If you didn't, I suggest you do, right now.

Why?

I believe that you need to understand that some Christians are being discriminated.  Just like Jack Phillips is.

Please realize that I truly feel badly for Jack Phillips.  After all, he's being sued, because he is hated since God is important to him.

God is obviously not important to Autumn Scardina, who is suing Jack Phillips.  If God was important to Autumn Scardina, then hatred wouldn't happen.

After all, God doesn't want people to hate others, for He knows that anyone who thinks they are perfect and hate others, are not perfect people.

Thinking about that, made me think of 1 John 2:9, "He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now."

Amen!  He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

Okay, Jack Phillips is NOT Autumn Scardina's brother.  However, Jack Phillips is being hated and hurt by being sued.

Has this only happened to Jack Phillips?

No.

Many other Christians are also being hated and hurt.

So, again, I will ask you to pray.

Please pray for Jack Phillips.

And, please pray for every other Christian.

By doing this, I believe God will truly bless you.

Sued... Please Pray...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I feel you need to know.

It's not about me.  It's about another Christian... and his business.

Here is the article by foxnews.com that is entitled, Colorado Christian cakeshop sued a third time for discriminationhttps://www.foxnews.com/us/colorado-christian-cakeshop-sued-discrimination?fbclid=IwAR3ORAYTm0Ma-NhcdL-SZq1E9CJe30tK27Joj_6VQzFMOGjTtqgwlx_qSHU.

Hopefully, you read the entire article.  I will share only part of what was stated (I copied/pasted):

The owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop -- which won a case before the U.S. Supreme Court recently -- was sued for a third time this week.
Jack Phillips, the Lakewood, Colo. bakery owner who has refused to bake cakes that violate his Christian faith, is being sued again by Autumn Scardina, a transgender woman, for refusing to bake a gender transition cake.
Sigh...

Can you imagine being sued for a third time?  How horrible!

After all, if you were a baker and felt you couldn't or didn't want to bake something, why couldn't you just refuse... and NOT get sued?

To me, it is obvious that the sinful person who is not with God, is hurting that Christian.

Thinking about that, made me think of Romans 2:11, "For there is no respect of persons with God.".

Amen!  For there is no respect of persons with God.

People who do not like God, have no respect of persons with God.

Please, join me in prayer.

Please... pray that Jack Phillips being sued, will win in court.

Please... pray for Jack Phillips that he will never again be sued by unbelievers.

Please... pray that Autumn Scardina, and any other unbelievers will become a born again Christian, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Thank you for praying.

May God bless you.

Hopefully!

Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL). yesterday. If you didn't, then I would suggest you read it, now.

Why?

You'll become partially aware about why I have needed help... and prayer.

Since I asked for prayer, I want you to also know that I have asked for prayer by my church family, my pastor and church elders.

Thinking of that, made me think ofJames 5:14, "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord".

Amen! Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

I must admit that I am truly thankful for prayer.

After all, that is what God wants us to do.

And, when we all do what He wants us to do, He blesses us.

For this I'm truly thankful.

Thank you!

Thank You, Lord!

Your Glory...

Today, is a special day, not just here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's also a special day for each of us Christians, who worship.

Of course, I also enjoy worshiping through music.

So, I'm sharing with you a YouTube music/video song entitled, Your Gloryhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FVlVdY8prA&list=RD2FVlVdY8prA&start_radio=1.  If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

Your Glory
My life is Yours
And my hope is in You only
And my heart You hold
'Cause You made this sinner holy
Holy, holy
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
I fall onto my knees in awe
And the heartbeat of my life
Is to worship in Your light
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
My life is Yours
My hope is in You only
My heart You hold
'Cause You made this sinner holy
holy, holy
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
I fall onto my knees in awe
And the heartbeat of my life
Is to worship in Your light
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
'Cause Your glory is so beautiful
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good, oh we're singing
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Oh
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good, oh we're singing
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Oh
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good
Glory glory hallelujah
Jesus You are good

Amen!  Jesus is good.  He's had wonderful glory, and we've been told about it.

Just as we read, in Isaiah 40:5, "And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.".

Hallelujah!  The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Yes, Jesus told everyone.  And, if you've read the New Testament portion of the Bible, then you will know what Jesus said.

I read the entire Bible every year.

Do you?

If not, I suggest you read the Bible

Begin in the New Testament portion, with the book of John, and read to the end of the Bible.
Then, begin reading at the beginning of the Old Testament... Genesis... and read the entire Bible every year.

If you read the Bible, you'll be truly blessed.

Hallelujah!

Shall We?

Do you have any idea what I'll do today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)?

I'll do what I've been doing for a while.

I'll let you know about movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

The Time Machine, starring Guy Pearce, Samantha Mumba and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American science fiction filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Time_Machine_(2002_film).  Even though there was murder, I watched the movie.

*  Black Moon Rising, starring Tommy Lee Jones, Linda Hamilton and other actors.  To check out this science fiction action thriller film, lick on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Moon_Rising.  I didn't like shooting, but watched the movie.

AEon Flux, starring Charlize Theron, Marton Csokas and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American science fiction spy action film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Æon_Flux_(film).  I watched this movie, even though there were murders.

Stealth, starring Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this American military science fiction action film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stealth_(film).  Even though there was sinfulness I watched the movie.

*  Transformers, starring Shia LaBeauf, Tyrese Gibson and other actors.  Please click on this link to check out this American science fiction action film:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers_(film).  I watched this movie, even though lives ended.

Science Fiction movies aren't my favourite.  After all, they make up stories and they usually have sinful things happening.... well, at least to me, I feel that happens.

Are we okay to be sinful?

Absolutely, NOT!

Thinking of that, made me think of Romans 6:15, "What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.".

Amen!  What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

God does NOT want us to sin.

If we belong to Him, and do NOT sin, then we are blessed.

Thank You, Lord!

Please Pray...

There is something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not something that has happened, here in Canada.  Well, at least not yet.

It is something that happened a while ago, in the Philippines.

Here is a link for the article by gatestoneinstitute.org that is entitled, Philippines:  Christians Slaughtered, Churches Bombedhttps://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/13658/philippines-christians-slaughtered?fbclid=IwAR0KX-e_5swmMGwFx3r1nX1uyOEERY4BEot0S4yh38Ea21IvJB4t8r8Tliw.

I truly hope you clicked on the link and read the article.  In case you didn't, I'll share it with you a bit stated (I copied/pasted):

The Islamic State claimed the most recent attack in a statement, adding that the massacre was carried out by "two knights of martyrdom" against a "crusader temple." A number of Islamic terror groups, including Abu Sayyaf, operating in the southern Philippines, have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State.

Although the Philippines is majority-Christian (chiefly Catholic), about 24% percent of the population of the southern Philippines, also known as Mindanao, is Muslim. For decades, Islamic separatist groups have been waging a war of terrorism — replete with bombings, burnings, and beheadings (including of two Canadian men) — that has left an estimated 150,000 people dead.

How awful!

Some people claim that Muslims do not hate people.  But, if you've done what I've done, by taking courses in understanding Islam, you'll realize that Muslims truly HATE anyone who is NOT Islamic.

Hopefully, you do not think I'm being dishonest in what I just said.  I'm not.

I'm speaking truth.

Being a born again Christian, I truly do not ever want to say anything that would be corrupt.

Thinking of that, made me think of Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.".

Amen!  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Yes, I DO NOT lie.  I speak TRUTH!

I speak truth regarding Islam, because I believe that people need to become educated.

People need to understand what Islam is about.  And, how Muslims truly hate people, who are not Islamic... even though they don't want people to understand that is true.

Please, pray... that everyone who is non-Muslim, will realize that Muslims want to do what their god wants them to do, by converting everyone in the world, to Islam.

Please, pray... that everyone who is non-Muslim, will realize that many Muslims truly want to do what their god wants them to do, by cutting off the heads of those people who refuse to become Muslim.

Please, pray... that every Muslim will realize that their god... is NOT our God.  And, that they will convert to Christianity, for if they do trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then they shall gain salvation and everlasting life.

Thank you for joining me in prayer.

May God bless you.

Until next time...
