Noir?

Today's a special day, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's a day when I'm able to let you know what I like to do.

I like to see movies!

Here are some movie's I've watched:

Fear in the Night, starring Paul Kelly, Ann Doran and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this film noir crime filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear_in_the_Night_(1947_film).  Yes, I liked it.

Cry of the City, starring Victor Mature, Richard Conte and other actors.  To check out this black-and-white film noir, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cry_of_the_City.  I found it sad.

Gun Crazy, starring Peggy Cummins and John Dall.  Would you like to check out this film noir?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_Crazy.  I found it good that the child didn't like to kill.

So Dark the Night, starring Steven Geray and Micheline Cheirel.  Please click on this link for the American crime film in the film noir tradition if you'd like to check it out:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/So_Dark_the_Night.  To me, it was sad what happened.

711 Ocean Drive, starring Edmond O'Brien, Joanne Dru and Otto Kruger.  If you'd like to check out this American crime film noir, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/711_Ocean_Drive.  Even though I found it to be sinful, I watched it.

Hmmm...  Are you aware what film noir means?  If you'd like to read about it, please click on the link I'm sharing with you:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_noir.

If you clicked on that link, and read the article you'll be aware that film noir basically means... Hollywood Crime Dramas.

Talk about evilness!  Crimes are basically evil.

God doesn't like evilness.

Thinking of that, made me think of Romans 13:4, "For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil.".

Amen!  For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil.

God wants us to do good.  Not evilness.  Just as you read in today's Bible verse.

Hopefully, you do good.

If you do, then God will bless you.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
