I'll be letting you know here on
Life with Lynnie (LwL)
that today is a special day for some people here
in
Canada.
Today, is...
National Indigenous Peoples Day!
For a while, in the past,
it was called
Aboriginal Day!
It's a day when many
indigenous people
and
communities
traditionally celebrate
their
heritage.

To me,
it's important that
indigenous people here in Canada
will celebrate their heritage.
After all,
indigenous people
actually helped
Canada
to be created.
This has made me so very happy,
for
I love Canada!
Thinking about
having
a special day,
made me think of...
Psalm 118:24,
"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.".
Even though
indigenous people
mainly aren't,
Christian
due to their
heritage,
I am
thankful
that they
allowed and helped
Canada
to be created.
For this, I am thankful and will always be glad in it.
Yes, I
rejoice!
So, now I will wish you...
Happy Indigenous People's Day!
Until next time...
