Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something.
It's something that I found out about, when a friend e-mailed me.
I responded to the e-mail I received. Then, I heard back again.
Even though I won't explain everything that was discussed in the e-mail, I will share with you a small bit of what was told to me. Here's a small portion of what was e-mailed to me (I copied/pasted):
I also wanted to request your prayers for one of our Bible College faculty who was beaten up yesterday for sharing the gospel. He has suffered injuries and has fractures around the nose. Please be praying. He might have to undergo surgery tomorrow.
My goodness! How awful!
Since I don't want this friend to be in any trouble, I won't tell you about who it is, or where the friend lives. But, I will let you know that the friend doesn't live in Canada, or USA. This friend lives in another country.
In the past, I wrote about how the education systems now do not want to have anything happen, that is Christian.
Sigh... so this is also what is happening to where my friend lives.
Obviously, the person who attacked the person who needs prayer for, and might have to undergo surgery, was attacked by someone who IS NOT Christian.
To me, this is very upsetting. After all, this person who was attacked and injured, is suffering. And, is hated.
Thinking of that, made me think of John 15:18, "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.".
Amen! If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Yes, it seems that the person who was attacked and injured... is hated. Hated by someone who is NOT Christian. And, hated just as Jesus had been hated.
Even so, we need to pray. Please, join me in prayer.
Please, pray... that the person who was attacked and injured, will be healed quickly.
Please, pray... that whoever is doing the attacking and injuring people, will stop hurting people, who are Christian.
Please, pray... that the person who did the attacking and injured the person I was told about, may become a born again Christian, and repent. By trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, that person will gain salvation, and everlasting life. But, will also... repent from sinning.
Thank you for joining with me in prayer.
May God bless you!
Until next time...
