Genocide... Petition...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing something with you.

It's something I received a while ago.  Unfortunately, I misplaced it, and recently located it again.  So, I decided to share it with you, now.

What was this?

I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Now, I'll share it with you (I copied/pasted):

Lynn,

As jihadists ravaged the Middle East, they did unthinkable damage. Christians have faced unspeakable persecution.

Today we are taking direct action at the U.N. to defend them.

Christians have been forced to flee for their lives, their kids kidnapped and enslaved. That’s genocide.

Christians have been horrifically killed, specifically targeted for their faith. That’s genocide.

At the ACLJ, we are dedicated to defending these persecuted Christians. We’ve mobilized our legal offices in Washington, D.C., Europe and the Middle East. We’re aggressively advocating in Congress and consistently at the United Nations.

We previously filed a written submission at the U.N. demanding it 1) recognize the genocide and 2) protect Christians.

Today we are making our oral intervention at the U.N. Human Rights Council (where our international legal team gets to directly speak at the U.N.).

We’ve got the U.N.’s attention. Now we must pressure them to act. It could save and protect countless Christians.

We need you to go with us to the U.N. Join hundreds of thousands taking action before today’s U.N. deadline.

ACLJ Chief Counsel

Oooeee!  To me, this is terrible.

Do we have any control over what Muslims are doing to Christians, in the Middle East?

No.  We don't have any control.

God has control.  And, can help, when we pray.

Thinking of that, made me think of John 15:7, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.".

Amen!  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

I abide in Him.

Do you?

If so, please sign the petition if you live in USA.  And... pray.

Pray that AC:LJ will be able help Christians who are being hurt and/or imprisoned by Muslims who are doing everything they can, to hurt Christians.

If you do, I believe God will bless you.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
