A Gift? A Gift!

Today, is a day that I'll share something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

As you probably are aware, I usually share movies with you!

Here are some movies I've watched:

The Defiant Ones, starring Sidney Poitier and Tony Curtis.  Click on this link, to check out this crime film  Even though I didn't think I'd enjoy this movie, I did.

The Organization, starring Sidney Poitier and Barbara McNair.  To check out this DeLuxe Color American crime thriller film, click on this link:  I liked this movie.

To Sir, with Love, starring Sidney Poitier.  Would you like to check out this British drama film?  If so, click on this link:,_with_Love.  Did I enjoy this movie?  I truly did, especially with the music!

*  Buck and the Preacher, starring Sidney Poitier, Harry Belafonte and Ruby Dee.  Please click on this link, to check out this American western film  Even though this movie wasn't truthful in some ways, I enjoyed seeing it.

Paris Blues, starring Sidney Poitier, Paul Newman and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this American drama film, click on this link:  Even though the story on the movie involved racism, I enjoyed watching this movie.

Hmmm... did you notice that Sidney Poitier was an actor on each of those movies?

If you'd like to read about Sidney Poitier, please click on this link:

Even though that link doesn't let us know, I read on Google, that Sidney Poitier was not Christian.  So, I decided to share the info with you (I copied/pasted):

Poitier lived with his family on Cat Island until he was 10, when they moved to Nassau, where he saw his first automobile, first experienced electricity, plumbing, refrigeration, and motion pictures. He was raised a Roman Catholic but, later became an agnostic with views closer to deism.

Even though I have enjoyed some movies with Sidney Poitier, I have prayed that he will become a born again Christian.

After all, we all need to become Christian.

Well, each of us are born sinful.  And, that will bring death, and not everlasting life.

Just as we read, in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.".

Amen!  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

To me, it's truly a blessing to have eternal life through gaining salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ!

Hopefully, you agree.  And, will pray for not just Sidney Poitier, but also for anyone you know who is NOT Christian.

I believe that if you do pray, then God will bless you.

Until next time...
