Hope...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll remind you of something.

Today, is our day of worship!

We can not only worship with church family, like I do normally.  We can also worship through music.

So, I decided I would again share some music with you!

Here is a link for music by The Singing Cookes that is entitled, I Hope We Walk The Last Mile Togetherhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUMJTUZhixo.  If you click on that link, you can listen to and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

I Hope We Walk The Last Mile

I hope we walk the last mile together
Hand in hand, we can see the promised land
We've been through a lot of bad times but our love is forever
And I hope we walk the last mile together
We made our house a home for our little ones
We've known happiness, and we've known some sadness too
Oh we've walked in the sunshine and we've walked stormy weather
And I hope we walk the last mile together
I hope we walk the last mile together
Hand in hand, we can see the promised land
We've been through a lot of bad times but our love is forever
And I hope we walk the last mile together
I remember when you first said I love you
I didn't know that our love could be so strong
And today I find its still mine, for its come and go whatever
And I hope we walk the last mile together
I hope we walk the last mile together
Hand in hand, we can see the promised land
We've been through a lot of bad times but our love is forever
And I hope we walk the last mile together

And I hope we walk the last mile together
Amen!

When we love someone, we can hope to walk the last mile, together.

Love is so very important.

Not just with someone to be married to, even though that is a true version of love.  But, there is another form of love that is truly important.

It's the love that God has for us.

Just as we read, in Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.".

Amen!  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Isn't that wonderful?!

To me, it is absolutely wonderful that God loved us so much, while we were still sinners, that He sent His only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, to earth, to pay the price for the sin of the world, for all who would believe upon Him.

All I can say is... thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
