There's something I feel I want to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
Today, is a day that most people think is a fun day.
It's April Fool's Day.
If you are not sure what April Fool's Day is about, please click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools%27_Day.
As you may have read in that article about April Fool's Day, you probably saw that many people play practical jokes.
Have you? I have... but not recently. Only in the past.
I did that in the past, before I was reading God's Word, the Bible... continuously.
Many people thought it was fun to act like a fool. Sort of like I did, years ago.
However, after reading God's Word, I realized that we should not trust ourselves, and act like a fool. Instead, we need to do what God would have us do.
Thinking of that, made me think of Proverbs 28:26, "He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.".
Amen! He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
By trusting in our own heart, and doing what we think is good, isn't exactly what God wants us to do. For just as you read in today's Bible verse, if people trust in their own heart, that person IS a fool
However, if people walk wisely, they shall be delivered.
That is truly a blessing.
Because when we read God's Word, the Bible, we become educated. And, we realize what God wants us to do.
When we do what He wants us to do, then we are delivered from sinful lives, to becoming someone who belongs to Him.
I've done this.
If you haven't yet done it, do it today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...
