Sad, But Wonderful!

There's something I want to share with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's something that I feel you will be happy about.  Well, I was!

Here is the article by that is entitled, Firefighter Moved to Tears After Man's Bible Survives House Fire: 'It Was a Miracle'

Hopefully, you clicked on that link, and read that article.  In case you didn't, you can read what I am sharing (I copied/pasted):

An Alabama family is recovering after a devastating house fire destroyed everything in the home, except for the family’s Bible.
Veteran and father Scot Byrd said his grandfather’s Bible was the only item to survive the fire that tore through their home in Bon Secour, Alabama.
On Jan. 8, Byrd and his wife went to church while his two daughters, Shelby and Ashton, attended a birthday party.
When the family came home, they found their house in ruins.
In an instant, the Byrd family became homeless. Their personal possessions had been destroyed.
But Byrd said that his grandfather’s Bible remained completely intact, which he believes is a sign from God that everything will be OK.
According to Byrd, a fireman found the Bible on top of a heap of rubble, almost as if it had been placed there on purpose.
“The fireman actually came out (of the home) with tears in his eyes and he said, ‘you’re not going to believe this, you’ve gotta come see it for yourself,'” Byrd told WALA-TV.
“This Bible did not have one scorch mark on it.”
Wow!  To me, this was wonderful!  Even though it was sad about the fire that destroyed their home.

Please know that when I read the entire article, there was something else I was praying for the family about.  But, God has helped them.

Praise God!  Hallelujah!

God is SO important!  And, His Word, the Bible is extremely important!

We need to read His Word.  Yes, we need to read the Bible.

Just as Jesus said to the Devil, in Matthew 4:4, "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.".

Amen!  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God, you'll find inside the Bible.

I read the Bible.  As I've said in the past, I read the entire Bible every year.  And, has for many, many, years.

Do you read the Bible?

Hopefully, you do.  For if you do, you'll be truly blessed.  And, God will provide for you in many ways.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
