Prayer Needed...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I feel you need to know about.

Quite a while ago, a Facebook (FB) friend shared a posting.  It touched my heart.

In the past, I heard about this person through the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), but this time I heard about Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, by my FB friend.

If you'd like to see the posting, feel free to click on this FB link:  https://www.facebook.com/ChristFaithRevival/posts/369173583112330.

However, if you don't want to do that, I'll share with you the message that was posted by my FB friend, Nnamdi A-Isaiah (I copied/pasted):

URGENT PRAYER NEEDED for cancellation of execution for Pastor Youcef in IRAN
Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani never practiced the Muslim faith and converted to Christianity at age 19, becoming a pastor later. But the courts say that since his mother and father were practicing Muslims, he must recant his Christian faith or die. So far, in three court appearances, he has refused to do so - RISKING EXECUTION AT ANY MOMENT.
The Iranian Supreme Court often acts quickly in administering the death penalty. According to a report, when asked by judges to "repent," Youcef replied: "Repent, What should I return to? To the blasphemy that I had before my faith in Christ?"
The judges replied: "To the religion of your ancestors - Islam." To which Yousef replied: "I cannot."
Sigh...

To me, this was so upsetting reading about what can happen to Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani.  After all, as you read, he is... risking execution

Yes, Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani may be murdered.  Murdered by Muslims, because he is Christian.

Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani truly needs prayer

After all, prayer needs to be done for him.  We need to not just pray once, but repeatedly.

Just as we read, in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing.".

Amen!  Pray without ceasing.

Please, join me and others in prayer.  And, please pray, over and over, and over again.

Please pray... that Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani will NOT be murdered by any Muslims, even though the Islamic court wants him to repent, give up Christianity and become Muslim.

Please pray... that the Islamic court will release Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani as soon as possible, so he can return to family and friends, not for him to be buried, but for him to be able to live with them.

Please pray... that Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani will be able to convert Muslims he's had contact with, to become Christian.

Thank you for praying.

May God bless you.

Until next time...
