All That I Had...

What do you think I'll discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today?

Do you know?

Well, if you do, then you realize that I will mention that today is our Lord's Day.  SONday.

Today, we need to worship.  I do.  Do you?

We can also worship through music.

I decided to share with you a song that I thought was lovely.

Here is the song by Billy Fields that is entitled, Until He Was All That I Hadhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eSr_PdLs84.  If you click on the link, you can listen to and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

Until He Was All That I Had

The storm they were facing was fearful
Their ship seemed so small in the waves
And the wind just kept blowing harder
And yet they were still all so safe
From out of the dark He came walking
He had never lost them from view
He can see through the darkest of troubles
He just wanted them to see it too

That you'll never be filled till your emptied
Until your broken you'll never be whole
Until the potter has tried your vessel with fire
You'll never come forth as pure gold
I didn't know how much He loved me
Until I'd passed through the storm and looked back
I didn't know Jesus was all that I needed
Until He was all that I had

Sometimes the storm that your facing
May seem like your whole world has changed
And the fire just keeps getting hotter
As the Potter is shaping the clay
Friends Jesus knows what He's doing
Even though it causes you pain
He just wants us to know the lesson he showed
His disciples is still the same

That you'll never be filled till your emptied
Until your broken you'll never be whole
Until the potter has tried your vessel with fire
You'll never come forth as pure gold
I didn't know how much He loved me
Until I'd passed through the storm and looked back
I didn't know Jesus was all that I needed
Until He was all that I had

I didn't know how much He loved me
Until I'd passed through the storm and looked back
I didn't know Jesus was all that I needed
Until He was all that I had

Amen!

Jesus is truly there for us.  Even when we go through storms in our lives.

Whoever posted that on YouTube, also quoted a Bible verse, so I decided to share it with you.

Here is the Bible verse that was shared... Psalm 73:25-26, "Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.".

Amen!  Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.  My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Yes, we go through troubles in our lives.  Trials.  Storms.

Call it what you want, but Jesus is always there for us, no matter what we experience.

For this, I'm thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
