What Should You Do?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I feel I need to ask you something.

Do you know what today is?

Today, is our Lord's Day!

It's a day when I go to worship with Christian family.  Hopefully, you do, also.

In addition, we can worship through music.

Recently, a Facebook (FB) friend shared a song to me.  Thank you, my friend!

It's a song I've never heard before, but truly enjoyed it.  So, I decided to share it with you!

Here is a link for the song by Jaci Velasquez that's entitled, Flower in the Rainhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdE_la8YZ54&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR3aWFhOGy-yV8a-_vR9IqmKjlHE9g90oC9C1g6gSODjehk9o2DD0rxQRN8.  If you click on the link, you can listen to and/or sing along!  The lyrics are below.

Flower in the Rain

You are the One; there's no one else
Who lifts me up
And gives me water from the well
But there's a hole
That seems to drain it all away
And once again I'm left in fear and doubt
When all my strength is crying out

So here I am again
Willing to be opened up and broken like a flower in the rain
Tell me what have I to do
To die and then be raised
To reach beyond the pain
Like a flower in the rain

The evil wind, it blows a storm
To rock my world
Just when I think I'm safe and warm
I'm led astray far too easily
It's always hard for me to say I'm wrong
Until I know I can't go on

So here I am again
Willing to be opened up and broken like a flower in the rain
Tell me what have I to do
To die and then be raised
To reach beyond the pain
Like a flower in the rain

Lord, You have searched me
And know when I sleep and when I rise
You're familiar with all my ways
Even the darkness will shine
Like the day
When you look into my heart

So here I am again
Willing to be opened up and broken like a flower in the rain
Tell me what have I to do
To die and then be raised
To reach beyond the pain
Like a flower in the rain

Like a flower in the rain

That song truly touched my heart.

Why?

Yes, the singer was talking with our Lord.  And, some of the lyrics said... "Tell me what have I to do
To die and then be raised".

Thinking about that portion of lyrics, made me think of John 11:25, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:".

Amen!  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

What anyone has to do, to be raised after they die, is to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, for then that person gains salvation and everlasting life.

All I can say, is... thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
