Thankful!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something.

It's something I did a while ago.  It was actually on the day when we had the most snow.

Yes, I live in Canada.  People sometimes think that we in Canada have snow all year.

We don't.

In fact, where I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada... across the river from Detroit, Michigan, USA, we have a very unusual winter at times.

Sometimes on the Detroit news or our Windsor news, we hear that there will be storms or snow, and sometimes we in Windsor, don't receive it.  Sometimes, we do.

Until January 19, 2019, we at times had a bit of snow in the air, but it didn't stay on the ground, so we still had green grass.  However, on that day, we had a lot of snow.  Well, not as much as many other places in Canada.

The street I live on was okay to drive on, when I had to stop at a store, then go to a house, where I needed to see someone.

When I drove on their street they had a lot more snow, but it was fine.  When I drove into their driveway, it was okay.  However, the wind had been so strong, that it moved some snow that piled up between their car and their front door.

Sigh... I had to climb through close to three (3) feet of snow, to get to their front door.  When I left their home, I had to go through that deep snow again, even though there wasn't any snow near their front door steps.  :'(

Even so, I thanked God for helping me.

Thinking about that, made me think of 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.".

Amen!  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Yes, God's will is so important.

Just so you know, He helps me in so many ways.

Not just through the snow I mentioned.

God helps me through so many things that happen in my life.  And, He helps anyone/everyone who belong to Him.

Do you belong to Him?

If not yet, please trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you shall gain salvation and everlasting life.  Then, you'll belong to Him.

Just as I've already done.

For this, I am truly thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
