Here is Love!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm sharing something with you.

Since today is when we worship, I will share with you some music.

However, since February 14th had been Valentine's Day, a day when people show love to each other, I decided to share with you a song regarding love.

The song is by Robin Mark and is entitled, Here Is Love.  Here is a link for you to click on, so you can listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8YOPj5TnUM.  The lyrics are below.

Here Is Love

Here is love vast as the ocean,
loving kindness as a flood
When the prince of life our ransom,
shed for us His precious blood

Who his love will not remember,
who can cease to sing His praise?
He can never be forgotten,
throughout heavn's eternal days

On the mount of crucifixion,
fountains opened deep and wide
Through the floodgates of God's mercy,
flowed a vast and gracious tide

Grace and love like mighty rivers,
flowed incessant from above
Heavens peace and perfect justice,
kissed a guilty world with love

Here is love vast as the ocean,
loving kindness as a flood
When the prince of life our ransom,
shed for us His precious blood

Who his love will not remember,
who can cease to sing His praise?
He can never be forgotten,
throughout heavn's eternal days

On the mount of crucifixion,
fountains opened deep and wide
Through the floodgates of God's mercy,
flowed a vast and gracious tide

Grace and love like mighty rivers,
flowed incessant from above
Heavens peace and perfect justice,
kissed a guilty world with love

Grace and love like mighty rivers,
flowed incessant from above
Heavens peace and perfect justice,
kissed a guilty world with love.
As we heard and/or sung, grace and love is so important.

We need to love.  If we do not love, we truly do not know God.

Thinking of this made me think of 1 John 4:8, "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.".

Amen!  He that loveth not knoweth not God: for God IS love!

God's love for us, is so very important.

When we know God, we gain love within us.  Not just for ourselves, but also for others.

I love God.

Do you?

Hopefully, so... for if you do, you will have love in so many ways.

Until next time...
