Hate?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I need to let you know about.

It's not something great, like I've written about in the past.

It's something that to me, is truly horrible.

Here is an article by voiceofeurope.com that is entitled, 65-year-old Swedish woman sentenced to prison for criticising Islam and migrationhttps://voiceofeurope.com/2018/09/65-year-old-swedish-woman-sentenced-to-prison-for-criticising-islam-and-migration/?fbclid=IwAR0mZ1AXF7CmUTCMgm-0ZiwZ_omvQzYBDOVuadsRj2Xp-XzV-v7lZ5lNg9k#.XBoqDJy-LEw.facebook.

Did you read the article?  Hopefully, you did.   I'll share a bit with you (I copied/pasted):

In March, the district court acquitted the woman who was prosecuted for hate speech comments made on Facebook. She had criticised Islam and wrote that “the IQ level in Sweden will fall as a result of immigration”.
Now, however, she is sentenced to prison by the supreme court. “If this continues, the intelligence in Sweden will be at goldfish level,” said one of her Facebook comments. “Refuse all that is to do with Islam” said another.
During the investigation, the woman, whose name is Christina, was subjected to six police interrogations and searches, something she described as a terrible experience.
It also stated (I copied/pasted):

In 2016, the woman was beaten unconscious and bloody by a gang of so-called “unaccompanied refugee children” herself. The assault affected her memory, among other things. However, no one was convicted of the assault.

Sigh...

I must admit that I feel badly for this woman.

Even though she spoke on Facebook (FB) about Islam, it doesn't mean that she used hate speech.

I've not used hate speech.  I've been speaking truth, to educate people.  And, I presume that lady did the same thing.

There IS truth about hate, though.

That poor lady was hated!  And, was treated in a hateful way!  Even though she relied upon her freedom of speech.

Thinking of that hatred, made me think of John 15:19, "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.".

Amen!  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Unfortunately, the people who hated that lady, are truly of the world.  For if they weren't, then they would not have chosen to hurt her, because they hated her.

Please... join me in prayer for that lady.

Please... join me in prayer for anyone else who has been hated by people who truly hate Christians.

Please... join me in prayer that those who are of the world, will change themselves, by becoming Christian.  For, if they do become Christian by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then they will not only gain salvation and everlasting life.  They will also gain a true heart and mind from God, so they will no longer be of this world.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
