Persecution... Please, Pray...

There's something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not regarding me.  Hopefully, not you, either.

It's something I found out about, when I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  So, I'll share the e-mail message with you (I copied/pasted):

Christian Pastor John Cao - a U.S. permanent resident - has been wrongfully convicted and sentenced in China.

After decades working in China and Burma (Myanmar), providing for the poor, sharing the love of Christ, and establishing schools for impoverished children, Pastor John was arrested and imprisoned by Chinese authorities as part of their increased crackdown on Christian pastors.

Pastor John's wife and 2 sons (all U.S. citizens from North Carolina) desperately want their father released and returned home to America.

Pastor John has been unjustly targeted for his Christian faith and sentenced to seven years in prison.

He's already been imprisoned for more than 20 months. His health is deteriorating, as he's lost over 50 pounds. He's forced to share a cell with a dozen inmates and only 1 bed.

We're representing Pastor John's family, aggressively working internationally for his ultimate freedom. We've mobilized our resources across the globe and are urging China to release Pastor John and allow him to come home to the United States to be reunited with his wife and kids.

Now he needs your voice.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Yes, Pastor John Cao truly needs your voice.

If you live in USA, please click on the link and sign the petition.

After all, he is truly suffering persecution, by being imprisoned.

Thinking about how he is suffering due to persecution, made me think of 2 Timothy 3:12, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.".

Amen!  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

It isn't easy for Pastor John Cao, since he's suffering persecution.  However, he also isn't physically well, as we found out when we read the e-mail message I received.

So, please... pray for Pastor John Cao, that he will be released from being imprisoned in China, and that his health will improve.

Please... pray for everyone in China, since some people are coming to know about God, and are becoming born again Christians.

Please... pray that the government of China will accept Christianity.

Thank you for praying.

May God bless you.

Until next time...
