Not things I've done on my own. Things I've actually done with family.
On my daughter P's birthday, it was wonderful that I was invited to go see her and family. It was a wonderful time and a lovely dinner! Thank you for having us all come together! It was wonderful being able to celebrate and wish P, Happy Birthday!
This past CHRISTmas and New Year's Eve were truly wonderful for me.
Why?
On CHRISTmas Eve, I spent time with my daughter, B... and most of her family members. Yes, my family! Even though not everyone was there, it was a wonderful time! Thank you, B and family!
Just so you know, before CHRISTmas Eve, I actually saw a family member who wasn't able to be with all of us at B's home, on CHRISTmas Eve.
On CHRISTmas Day, I spent time with my daughter, P... and most of her family members. Yes, my family! Even though a family member wasn't able to be there, it was truly a lovely time! Thank you, P and family!
On New Year's Eve, I also spent time with my daughter, P... and most of her family members. Plus, another relative who was visiting, B's son... A!
Why?
It was my grandson, S's birthday! It was so wonderful having dinner (delicious!), and spending part of the evening, together. Thank you, P! Again, I'll say... Happy Birthday, S!
Then yesterday, on January 1, 2019... our New Year's Day, a grandson of mine, J wasn't able to have his mom, my daughter B, drive to go pick him up in a town away from our city of Windsor, Ontario, Canada... because B was feeling sick.
So, J contacted me and I went, picked him up, and drove him home. Even though it wasn't short or extremely long, it was wonderful spending time with, J! Thank you for the French Vanilla Cappuccino coffee!
J had asked me to stop at Tim Hortons, so I did. At first, I said that I didn't want anything.
However, when J ordered the French Vanilla Cappuccino coffee, I was shocked, because it's my favourite coffee! And, it made me feel like I'd like some, so we ordered it, and we both enjoyed it! I expected to pay for our coffee, but I didn't. J did. Thank you, J! I must admit, I truly enjoyed that gift!
That evening, I had a lovely long distance phone call with my aunt N, who lives not close to where I live. It was wonderful speaking with her, since in a few days, she will become 92. Since she'll be busy with family, I wished her Happy Birthday!
Oops, I also need to let you know that my brother, B... who lives in a different city, not close to where I live, has been not well, and had been suffering with severe pain.
B... ended up going to the hospital. He was treated and has been in hospital for several days now.
For this, it may seem sad, but to me, I felt he was truly being blessed, for God provided a way for him to be treated physically. Yes, B... will remain in the hospital for a while yet, but to me, I'm thankful that he's feeling improved.
Please pray for my brother, B... and all my family, for not everyone is feeling well, now.
Even so, I felt truly blessed!
Why? Well, in the past, I hardly had time spent with family members. And, my brother hardly had any medical care that was helping him.
So, to me... everything that happened was truly a blessing, for God provided grace... for us all.
Thinking of that, made me think of 2 Corinthians 9:8, "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:".
Amen! And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:.
Thank You, dear God!
Thank You, for loving not just me, but all my family members, who truly need Your help!
Thank You, for providing for everyone who needed Your help, including the medical care needed!
Thank You, for letting me have wonderful conversations and/or visits with my family!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
