What is it?
I'm thinking about my dad. If he were still alive, it would be his birthday. And, I would be celebrating with him.
When I was in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany, I thought about my dad. Not just him, but also everyone else who were also in the Canadian Army, because that is where most of them were during the WW2 Normandy invasion.
I actually have driven in all the areas there, where the Canadian army had been. After all, they did all they could to help others. And, God blessed them, by having the war end.
When my dad was alive, I didn't always have a great relationship with him. But, I did love him. And, I prayed for him, always.
Thinking of this, made me think of Philemon 1:4, "I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,".
Amen! I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers.
Just as today's Bible verse states, I did thank my God, always for my dad. And, I prayed for him, always... when he was alive.
Do/did you pray for your dad?
It's important to pray for anyone that is important to you.
When you pray, I believe He will bless you.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
