It's not anything regarding me. It's regarding another Christian.
I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ). It was regarding a young, 15 year old Christian girl.
Here is the e-mail message I received (I copied/pasted it):
Lynn,
A 15-year-old Christian girl was abducted and is being held captive.
Boko Haram - a vile jihadist army in Nigeria that is slaughtering Christians - has demanded Leah Sharibu - a child - recant her faith in Christ and convert to Islam. She refuses.
They have threatened to make her a slave for life - and even possibly kill her.
Nigerian Christians are being targeted, abused, and murdered by sadistic jihadist militias like Boko Haram. Their government seems unable or unwilling to stop this deadly persecution.
We have successfully defended numerous Christians from imprisonment and death. Now we must take action to save Leah Sharibu and defend our Christian brothers and sisters.
We've delivered a critical oral intervention at the U.N. on behalf of Nigeria's Christians. We just sent a critical legal advocacy letter to the government of Nigeria demanding it act to free Leah; and in just days, we're sending a 2nd letter.
Christian children must be protected. Leah Sharibu must be brought home safely. Now she urgently needs YOU before it's too late.

I also received another e-mail message regarding the same young girl, so I decided to share it with you also (I copied/pasted it):

Is this amazing to you?
To me, it is... but, it also isn't.
Why?
Well, I can't recall if the lady I met a few years ago, who lives in the same city I do, was from Nigeria, or not. I know she was from Africa, to be sure.
When I met that lady, I found out she was Christian. She had come to live here, but without her parents and siblings.
Why?
She let me know that she had been out playing and saw Muslims come and murder her parents, brothers and sisters. Apparently, the Muslims hadn't seen her, so she survived, even though many other non-Muslim families had also been murdered.
I need to ask you to please... sign the petition, if you can, because you live in USA.
Please realize that it wasn't easy for the lady I met and told me about how she was helped after her life was hurt. And, it won't be easy for this young girl who is in need of being released, and not murdered by Muslims.
Just as we read, in Isaiah 41:13, "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.".
Amen! For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
I praise God that He helped this lady I met. And, am praying for this young Christian girl, who truly needs help.
Please... join me in prayer, for Leah Sharibu who is the 15 year old Christian girl, who needs to be released, and NOT murdered by Muslims.
Please... join me in prayer, for anyone like the lady I met, who lived in Africa and had family murdered by Muslims.
Please... join me in prayer, that Muslims will find out that they truly need to become a born again Christian, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. For if they do, they will gain salvation, everlasting life, and will try to help fellow Muslims become Christian.
Thank you, for helping... and praying.
May God bless you.
Until next time...
