Merry CHRISTmas Eve!

Today, is a special day not just here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), or in Canada, but also mainly around the world.

After all, today is... CHRISTmas Eve!

Here is a link for a YouTube video by Mark Grosse that is entitled, WHAT IS THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS ANIMATION BY MARK GROSSE

Did you watch that video?  It was only a couple of minutes long.  So, if you haven't watched it, please do.

My friend Mark Grosse makes videos and postings, that I think are true blessings.

If you watched this video, you'll realize that Mark Grosse stated that the true meaning of Christmas is... love.

Also mentioned, was John 3:16-17, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.".
As we were told on the video, Christmas was necessary, because we needed a Saviour, to gain everlasting life, and who came to the earth, to pay the price for the the punishment of our sin.  Jesus came to earth to do that for us.  God demonstrated His love for us, for Christ died for us.
Just as was also mentioned in Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.".
Amen!  Hallelujah!
Mark Grosse also mentioned that we celebrate Jesus' birth, by giving each other gifts.
Even though Mark Grosse did NOT mention this, I feel I will let you know... that Saint Nicholas was the person who truly began as Santa Claus, due to his secret gift-giving.

Of course, you can also click on this link, to read about Santa Claus:
Please, accept the true meaning of CHRISTmas.
Yes, we do not truly know what the date was, when Jesus was born, but does it matter?
To me, it's important to honour Him every day.  Yes, always.
However, it is also important, and wonderful to be able to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ... and have so many people in the world celebrate, as well.
Please, enjoy the special day, that we will celebrate tomorrow.  CHRISTmas!
If you do, may God bless you.
Merry CHRISTmas Eve!

Until next time...
