Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I need to remind you of.
It's not something I've mentioned before. But, it's something that you've read about, if you have read God's Word, the Bible, or if you've attended Bible study.
What is it?
It's about how we who are born again Christians will some day be married to... Jesus.
Here is a YouTube video by the John Ankerberg Show that is entitled, How should we prepare for the marriage supper of the Lamb?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcnG0V3Aphg&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR0e1g5H-43wQuUIO9SjZfzV9W64COC52RPkOi_1nwa_0uTlNvtkGAaJZMA.
If you haven't yet clicked on that link, please do so. If you do, you'll watch a video that is only a few seconds more than a minute. And, you'll see exactly what will happen to each of us, who belong to God.
During the conversation, the speaker quoted 2 Corinthians 11:2, "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.".
Yes, even though the wording on the video was slightly newer in nature, it is also true that... For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
There are other verses in the Bible that explains that once our life ends here on earth, and we go to be with Jesus, we who belong to Him, Jesus will be our husband. Yes, He will always provide for us.
Have you read the Bible?
Hopefully, you have. For if you have, you'll have begun to understand everything that God provided for us.
If you haven't, I suggest that you begin to read the Bible, now.
If you haven't ever read the Bible, I suggest you begin reading in the book of John, in the New Testament portion of the Bible. Read to the very end of the Bible.
Then, after you've finished reading the New Testament portion of the Bible, begin reading Genesis from the beginning of the Old Testament portion of the Bible, and continue reading a bit, every day, until you've read the entire Bible.
I've read it for about 27 years, now.
If you do it every year, I believe God will bless you. Just as He's blessed me.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
