Happy Boxing Day! Blessings on CHRISTmas Eve & CHRISTmas Day!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I would like to wish you... Happy Boxing Day!  Celebrate and enjoy your day of rest!

Even though my life hasn't been great, I feel that God has truly blessed me.

I thought I'd let you know how I was truly blessed on both CHRISTmas Eve... and on CHRISTmas Day!

On the day of CHRISTmas Eve, I had been invited to go to see my daughter, B... and most of her family... which is also my family.  :)

We had a nice visit together.  I must admit that I was thankful not just enjoying my time with family, but also enjoying dinner, as well!  Thank you, B... for our dinner was delicious!  And, thank you for having me spend time with you and our family!

Later, some family were going out and became busy doing other things, so I said 'bye' to everyone, and went to a church group that was close to where I live.

I enjoyed being at the church service for CHRISTmas Eve!  It was also truly a blessing.

After all, even though we truly do NOT know when Jesus was born, we were able to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ, on the evening before what we call CHRISTmas!

On CHRISTmas Day, I was a busy person.

I texted with people, and spoke on the telephone with people in various places.  Please know that I felt badly that I did not have enough time to speak with everyone that it would have been a blessing to speak with.

Why?

I had arranged to be with various people I knew.  And, stopped by to see a couple other people.

Then, I went to my daughter, P's home.

P had invited me to visit and enjoy CHRISTmas dinner with her and family.  Thank you, P!  Even though I am thankful and truly enjoyed our dinner together, I was truly happy being able to visit with you and our family!  :)

After I dropped off my grandson, Z... at a friend's home, I stopped and got some gas.  It was the lowest price I had seen available in such a long time!  Canadian money of 92.9 cents per litre.  That equals the amount of about US $2.59/gallon.  Wow!

When I arrived home, I spoke with a couple of friends on my telephone.

To me, it was such a wonderful time with family and friends, for I truly felt loved.

Please realize that I don't normally feel loved.

After all, I'm usually alone, for a long time.  But, it was wonderful spending time with family and friends, in various ways.

Truly, love is so very important.

Just as we read, in John 15:12, "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.".

Amen!  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Hallelujah!

I was truly so happy and felt good in my heart, for loving others, and feeling loved.

Thank you, my dear family.

Thank you, my friends.

But mostly, thank You, my dear loving Lord!

Until next time...
