Wept...

There's something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not something regarding me, personally.  However, I have been an injured worker, and what I want to let you know about is something that happened to someone else, here in North York (Toronto), Ontario, Canada

Here is a link for an article by thestar.com that is entitled, Ministry of Labour investigating death of temp worker at Fiera-affiliated bakeryhttps://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2018/10/26/ministry-of-labour-investigating-another-death-at-fiera-affiliated-bakery.html.

The article stated much more on October 26, 2018, but I am only sharing with you a bit of information stated (I copied/pasted):

Ontario’s Ministry of Labour is investigating another death of a temporary help agency worker at a company affiliated with Fiera Foods, the industrial bakery in North York that was the subject of a 2017 Toronto Star investigation.
The worker in his 40s was killed Thursday night when he was pinned between a tractor trailer and the loading dock for Upper Crust, which is part of a group of companies run by Fiera owners Boris Serebryany and Alex Garber.
Police and paramedics were called to 55 Canarctic Dr. — near Keele St. and Steeles Ave. W. — at 9:49 p.m. Efforts to save the man’s life were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the fourth death of a temp agency worker at Fiera or its affiliated companies since 1999.
Sigh...

To me, I feel sick in my heart.  I feel sick in my heart for the family of the person who recently died while working, plus for the others who I found out by reading this article that other people had also died, while working there.

Why?

Not just because I've been an injured worker, and at some times wondered why I hadn't died.  But, also because my family suffered, even though I was injured... and lived.

Of course, my heart is broken for the family and friends of the person who died, recently and for the other family members and friends of those who died while working there, previously.

Please understand that I feel sick in my heart that people get injured at work, and do not live.  My heart is broken for family and friends of everyone who died, for they will suffer grief.  Please know that I am praying for you.

I must admit, it brought tears to my eyes.

Thinking of this, made me think of John 11:35, "Jesus wept.".

Amen!  Jesus wept.

Jesus wept, while he heard that Lazarus had died, just as you can read in the Bible.  However, Jesus also did something different.

Jesus went to see Lazarus' dead body.  And, gave him life, again.

Jesus is truly a blessing.

For those of us who belong to Him, we will also gain everlasting life, after our life here on earth ends.

I belong to Him.

Do you?

If you don't belong to Him, trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and you will gain salvation, everlasting life, and a wonderful life, here on earth... for you will truly be blessed.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
